No One Touches Her: Book 2

Madison

Brad lifts me up, putting me in bed as he asks. "Sooo, what were you two talking about?"
"Girl talk. Boys not allowed," I say burying his face with one of the pillows.
"Aawww, come on fill me in."
"Not a chance Bad Boy."
"Fine fine princess. Have a cookie."
I chuckle then roll off the bed, grabbing my books from my bag as I slam them on the table getting ready to do my homework. 

I spent about 20 minutes finishing the homework assignment until I feel Brad pulling me on his lap as he sit down.

"Can I help?"
"Are you sure you can even help with this?"
"I can help. Hit me."
"Ookay, here's one. How is blood in the renal vein different from blood in the renal artery?"
"U-Uhh...." he gets silent scratching his head.
"Hmm. Maybe this one? Which process occurs in both large scale sewage disposal and large scale treatment of water for drinking?"
"Wh-Wha-? What subject is this?!"
"Biology Brad...You haven't learnt this?"
"Nope. I dropped out remember?"
"Not even before you dropped out?"
"Um. No."
"That's..."
"Bad I know. But I already told you the whole story."
I nod in silence as I continue my homework and Brad didn't talk after that.

I finally finished after a couple minutes of awkward silence and I check on Brad to see him sleeping. I smile giving him a kiss on the cheek as I get up and put my books back in my bag. Yawns come from my mouth as I prepare my stuff for tomorrow's class when suddenly the door was being knocked; so I go to answer it and see Madison.

"Hi Ashley, remember me?"
"Yeah, you're Madison right? Vero's friend?"
"Yeah. I need your help if you're not busy."
"Well, I was gonna go to bed but what do you need?"
"I...can't find my math book, I seem to have  left it in class and I have an assignment that due first thing in the morning. Can you help me please?"
"Why not make Vero help with that? She's better at that job than me."
"Yeah but Vero has been sooo deep in her books and stuff, so she doesn't want to help me. Please Ashley please please? I honestly don't want to fail this assignment-"
"Okay okay calm down. I'll help you find it."
"Thank youu thank you so much Ashley. Come on!" she begins to pull my hand as I close the door behind me and she sprints off to her classroom dragging me along with her.

She checks the classroom door to see that it's open as we both walk in.

"Oh wow. The door is opened?" she says confused but it sounds kinda ironic.
"Maybe the security forgot to lock this one?"
"Hm, maybee." she says looking around the classroom for her book and I look around also until she asks. "Is Brad here?"
"Huh? Y-Yeah why?"
"No reason. I mean, why wouldn't he be right? You two are just so cute together."
"Uhh Th-Thanks Madison."
She was silent after that and few seconds later she finds her book. "YES! I found it!" I found my book."
Congrats. I wasn't much help.

I then follow her as we leave the classroom heading back to my dorm room. She squeals happily hugging me. "Thank you so much Ashley! You were a big help!"
Was I now....?
"Oh! We should exchange numbers, I want to hang out with you tomorrow. I-If that's okay with you."
"Well...I guess we can hang out tomorrow."
"Yaaayy." we exchange numbers then she wave me goodbye as she heads over to her dorm room and I close the door.

Hmm...it's kinda weird how Madison wants to be friends with me now all of a sudden...is Vero that busy for her?
