Lheati's Grandmother ^^^

"Really" Grandmother asked, shocked. As soon as I got home is told my grandmother every thing King Ares said and to say that she was surprised was an understatement.

"Yes, I'm just shocked right now, I mean why would he want us females to fight in the war, he has the males to do that" I said, baffled. I'm still in shock right now. Us?

"Just like my mother told me" Grandmother whispered.

"What?" I asked.

"I think its time you know your family history" She said. Okay?, I made my self more comfortable. This is gonna be interesting.

"My mother, your great grandmother, was a skin walker" My grandmother began.

"Skin walker's can tell the future, so one day my mother had a vision that the females of our kind will go into a great battle between two great creatures, I guess this was what she was talking about"

"But she also said one exceptional female of our kind will bring great glory to our people, someone special, and you Lheati are that person" My grandmother said. Wait, hold up, Me?.

"Me?" I voiced out my thoughts.

"Yes you, I have seen something special in you since the day you were born, there is a light inside of you Lheati, I know, so that is why you must join the war" She said.

"But grandmother I can't do that, I don't even know how to fight and I can't leave you here all alone just to go to war" I looked at her as if she was being ridiculous. And she is being ridiculous right now.

"Don't worry about me Lheati, I'm not as weak as I appear to be" She winked. I know that all too well.

"And I will teach you how to fight, don't worry about that, I'll teach you everything I know" She assured me.

"Do you think I'll be able to learn everything in time" I asked. I was still skeptical about doing this.

"Don't doubt yourself my child" She smiled softly. I smiled right back and pulled her into a tight embrace.

"I'll make you proud, I promise" I whispered to her.

"You always do" She replied, tucking a few strands of my dark brown hair behind my ear.

I'm so so so sorry this chapter was short, but I wrote it so short cause I didn't know what to write anymore. But the next chapter is gonna be awesome I promise you.
