CHAPTER 14 - Axis Cafe

-someone's POV-

Onew together with teamin, Minho and Dongwoon were on Axis cafe waiting for Jjong’s call and text. Two hours have past but no news about key. Taemin got more silent and deeply buried his head on his palms. Minho tried to contact jjong but his phone was off.

"min" Dongwoon taps taemin’s shoulder. Taemin looked up showing his puffy red eyes. Dongwoon felt a sting on his chest as taemin's worn out and tired eyes welcomed him.

"ahm, everything will be alright" he smiled at him. Taemin nodded and Dongwoon stood up.

"hey, going already? Well, see yah tom-" Minho was cut off.

"I’ll just order something for Taemin" -Dongwoon.

"You don't have to" Taemin grabbed his hand.

"I have to" Dongwoon in serious tone. Taemin let goes of his hand then Dongwoon was about to turn.

"Dongwoon ah~ where here too~" Onew with a grin.

"yah, that's right. How about us?" Minho seconded and hi5 to Onew.

"fine.. But there’s no chicken in here" Dongwoon said in a matter-of-fact-tone as he walked. Onew sighed and pouted that cause Taemin to chuckle a bit.

"that’s right Taemin ah~, smile.." Minho reached for the younger ones cheeks. Taemin blushed to what Minho did while the older one got frozen. Feels like his hand were glued on taemin’s skin.

[ring..ring]

"yah! Choi Minho, your phone!" Onew poked Minho’s arms that snapped him from his thoughts. Minho hurriedly pulled out his phone. He watched the unfamiliar number flashed on his screen and later on pressed 'accept'.

 -Taemin’s POV-

I felt Minho’s hand lifted from my skin. I wanted to grab his hand to let me feel the warmth that he gave me earlier but he grabbed his phone before the ring fades away. His eye's furrowed as he watches the screen and pressed something.

Minho: hello?

Minho: neh?

Minho: oh hello pretty!

Minho: kekeke! You too. So? How are yah? It's been a long time-

Minho: really? That would be great. So? When is that?

Minho: ah~ he's fine.

Minho: don't worry. I'm here.

Minho: neh, i'll wait for you. Bye pretty.

He then hangs up the phone.
