My heart ached for her, I couldn’t do anything to help her I felt so useless, I should be able to do something to help my mate, I wish I knew what I could do to help her, I feel so useless right now and its making me insane, I could hear her screams from the other room and its driving me nuts that I cant help her, what can I do but keep getting in the way
"You need to calm down, their doing the best they can for her" I have forgotten that my father had came and was sitting out side with me, so when he spoke I jumped a little
"I know its hard hearing her screaming but you need to calm down and let them do their job, why don’t you go get us coffee or something" he suggested but I was scared to leave this spot just incase I wont see her again
"I cant" I got off my chair walking towards the door trying to hear what their saying in the room but it was quiet except for Ashley's screams I flinched when I heard her yelling, I wanted to break down the door and hold her but I had to keep calm I walked back to the chair next to my dad and sat down
"Dad, what can I do?" my eyes watery as I asked my dad, he looked at me pity all over his face
"I'm sorry son, but there is nothing we can do" I looked down to the floor, the door started to open I jumped up looking towards the door
"We need you in here" I couldn’t run any faster but Amy stopped me in front of the door
"You need to let us do our job, we just need you to hold her so she can stop screaming" I nod trying to tip toe to look at Ashley she snapped her fingers in front on my face getting my attention
"One wrong move and I'll personally kick your ass out" I nod my understanding she looked at me for a few seconds but it felt like forever as soon as she moved aside I was right next to her holding her hand
She laid on her back on top of a cement table, she was sweating really badly her white skin was now red, her clothes are drenched and her face was scrunching up, as soon as I held her hand she squeezed my hand hard
"Are you ready?" I looked up to see Kira standing there I hadn't noticed her, I nod my head holding her hand a little harder
"Remember what I said" I looked at Amy then back to Ashley
If I wanted to be here by her side I have to restrain myself, I kissed her soft hand and closed my eyes, my lips still on her soft hand, Kira started chanting and Amy stepped in and started chanting with her, I felt Ashley's body moving, I opened my eyes to see Ashley's body floating, then a bright yellow light started to glow all over here she squeezed my hand hard I put my lips on her hand again and closed my eyes
"Jason" my name felt so good coming out of her mouth, a smile broke out of my lips, I continued to hold her hand cause it was calming me down and it was also helping with her pain cause she wasn’t screaming as much
"Jason, we’re done" I felt my body shaking, I slowly opened my eyes to see Amy standing in front of me looking down at me, I lifted my head to look around confused Kira was at the far end corner doing something with her back towards us and Ashley asleep on the cement table
"What happened?" I asked slowly getting off the chair stretching but my hand was still holding Ashley's hand
"It's over" Amy said looking down at her sister
"What were you guys doing?" I sat back down now both hands holding her hand Kira then walked over wiping her hands
"We erased her memories" I looked at both of them, I wasn’t sure what to feel, I was kind of in between happy and angry
"Why?"
"She wanted it, my magic wasn’t strong enough to erase them that’s why she relapse but Kira's magic is strong and combine it with mine she will never again remember what happened in her past" Amy now stood next to her caressing her hair
"You cant do that! The past is what makes her strong" I stood up now angry
"Do you know what happened to her?" Kira yelled looking at me
"No, but I bet it wasn’t worst then you think" I said but in my head I was thinking that I had no idea who my mate is, I mean I have never asked her simple questions or personal ones
"She was a sex slave to those barbaric animals we call rogues, she was beaten everyday, raped repeatedly, and starved almost to death" Kira's eyes were turning red as she explained what Ashley has gone through, my anger rose as I heard all of this
"Enough!" yelled Amy she looked at both of us
"Calm your self's down before she wakes up with the same memories and we would have to do this over again, its already very risky and I don’t want to push it again" I looked to Amy
"What do you mean risky?" she looked at me as if I had slapped her on her face
"You do best to remember your tone around me young man" her power was radiating off her making my wolf cower I bowed my head
"I'm sorry" I softly said I looked up to both her and Kira
"Will she remember me?" I asked hopeful
"No" my heart sank, just the thought that she wont remember me hurts, but another thought came to mind and it lifted me up, I can be her friend make her comfortable before telling her who I am
"Why are you smiling like a fool?" I looked to Amy
"I get to know her in a whole different way, if you allow me I would like to stay here and take care of her, let her get to know me and see where it goes" Amy looked at Kira then looked at me
"We'll discuss it later" she said she started walking towards me
"Time to go, she need to rest" I was about to refuse when Kira spoke up
"She wont wake up until tomorrow so lets go meet your dad and discuss some terms" she walked out followed by Amy, I looked at Ashley one more time before I painfully let her hand go
"I promise, I'll always be here" I whispered in her ear then I gave her a small kiss on her fore head and made my way out.
