Today I begin my new life as an intern at Facebook. Last summer I left my life of being a farmer and decided to move to social media. It wasn't too hard landing this role. I just had to bribe the supervisors.
The time is now 9 AM and I'm officially late on the first day. UGH! Could my day get any worse. I don't even know my boss and he seems intimidating. His eyes intrigue me. There's just something about them that ignites a fire between my legs. I've only seen pictures of him but I know how he acts. We all must walk on eggshells around here. If we don't follow orders, then you could get killed. I know it seems crazy but it's the truth. Or at least this is what I've heard. It's probably just my coworker Jeanette trying to scare me being the newbie. I walk up the steps to the main office and find a seat. God this place is so boring. I was expecting to see data and maybe that hot lizard boss. Oh well! I guess I could just go get some coffee. I go find the coffee stand and order my favorite drink. Iced water with 33 pumps of caramel and 51 shots of espresso. It's what gets me going through the day, and helps me forget my haunting past of farm school.
