This is so frustrating! I've been looking at my  9 years bestfriend Olivia across, doing some random tiktok challenges and dances for the past hours, insted of doing our research project.

"Hyejoo!" I called her

"Why?" She Answered,Still trying to learn a random dance in tiktok

"You do know that our project is due tomorrow, right?" I angrily answered

"So? I'll just ask our professor if we could pass next week" said while laughing slightly

After what I said I heard a laugh echoing inside our dorm

"Ugh let's just finish our project for the pedo"  I said hugging back and laughing slightly

Hours later

"Finally!" Olivia screamed "it felt like eternity!" She added

"oh shut up! You only did 2 pages out of 12" I said

"But it was so hard" she said defending herself while pouting

After awhile I started to get ready to sleep, then I saw Olivia laughing while looking at her phone

I walked up to her "what is that?" I asked

"Oh it's a challenge where bestfriends would kiss each other" she explained

"Oh,-wait what?" I looked at her like she is crazy

"Can we do it?" Olivia asked

"What?!" I looked at her with wide eyes

You see, the thing is I've liked Olivia for years now but I'm scared to tell her about my feelings

"Y/n! Let's do this!" Olivia said as she clicked on the app in her phone. She clicked the red button and the count down starts

As Olivia screamed, thoughts came flooding into my mind 'I almost kissed my bestfriend A.K.A the love of my life'

I watched her as she clutch to her phone for dear life, as I was watching her without knowing I smiled.

She looked at me asking why am I smiling and started hitting my thighs jokingly

"Nothing I just love you so much" I said out loud, When I realized what I had just said it was too late to run

"O-Oli, wha-t are yo-you doing?" I ask nervously as she stood up and faced me

Olivia smiled at me lovingly and said "Y/n I have loved you since we were 12" as her eyes starts to tear up

"I've been a coward for a long time Y/n, but now I know you feel the same way...Will you go out with me" she asked

Instead of responding I took her phone, she gave a confused look, I smiled at her as I hit the record button and kissed her, she silently giggled into the kiss

"So what's your answer?" She asked jokingly with a hint of mischievousness I hit her lightly then said

"Of course, you idiot. I'll go out with you" I said while looking straight into her eyes

We spent the night cuddling with each other and talking about ridiculously random things

"You know I only want to do that challenge so that I could kiss you" Olivia bluntly said
