Crystals, pearls, glitters, and a tiara. Everything was set. You gazed at your clear reflection in the mirror as a small smile involuntarily bloomed on your face. Sincerely praising the flawless art of the makeup-artist on your face, you slowly reached out for the flower bouquet resting on the table.
"Y/n, are you ready, it's time." Your mom's voice echoed in every corner of the room.
"Yes!" You shouted back in reply, then turning around to face your sister you smiled at the heart-warming sight. You slightly lifted your gown as the both of you proceeded towards the door and stood in front the long aisle.
The girl beside you was breathing heavily, her actions clearly expressing how nervous she was at the moment."Ready?" You quietly asked your sister a.k.a the bride. Hold up, whoever thought that you were the bride, no, you're the bridesmaid, it's just that you're over-dramatic.
The moment you stepped on the beautiful flower-covered aisle, walking right behind your sister, you felt as all the attention slowly drifted towards your way, well your sister but as you were right behind her, so yeah. As you were scanning everyone's mesmerized faces your eyes caught a hold of something, something interesting actually.
The cameraman who was specially assigned to take pictures of the bride had his camera pointed towards you only most of the time, but you couldn't see his face for the gadget. Does he want to lose his job?
Your eyes automatically kept on drifting towards him but all you could make out were pale, veiny hands belonging to a man with a mop of fluffy chocolate-hair. But as your sister took the groom's hand, your attention went back to being focused on the to-be-wedded couple.
After the individual vows were taken, you cheered loudly as the couple kissed once the priest announced them to be 'man and wife'. Later that day, You really didn't look forward to catching it so when your sister threw the bouquet and it landed on your hand, you were quite disappointed. However, the moment you looked up, you found the same cameraman photographing you causing you to tilt your head at him, but then your heartbeat stopped. The camera lowered as you finally got a glimpse of the man hiding behind it.
You stared at him, the image of his high cheekbones and flawless facial features drifting around your mind. His brown hair framed his face perfectly and those eyes, those damn eyes. They looked like brown crystal balls and were flecked with gold from the light reflecting in it. As quickly as it appeared, it disappeared behind the huge black equipment.
You unknowingly smiled at the man making him peek an eye out, before it right behind the camera. You frowned before walking up to the newly-wedded couple receiving greetings from different guests.
"Look who's here, the next bride of our family." Your sister retorted with a smile making you scoff.
"First let's see how long your marriage lasts." You said mockingly making your sister's husband look at you and then at your sister, he looked cautious. After having a little gossip with them, you walked towards the food section and grabbed a plate for yourself, your eyes started scanning through the buffet. When you finally decided and were reaching out for the macaroon you heard another plate being lifted from the counter as a person came and stood beside you. You glanced at the person standing beside you and your jaw fell open.
It was the cameraman. He had looked gorgeous enough from far away before but now from close up, he looked outright breathtaking. His beautiful hands held up a plate and his hair fell right into his eyes. You suddenly noticed the beauty mark on his nose and somehow, to you, that imperfection made him ever more perfect. His head turned as the both of you locked your eyes. Immediately you felt as if you were drowning in those brown orbs, and just when your were about to make a comment, the brunette man's cheeks became tinted as he hastily blinked and looked away. Time seemed to pass slower.
