Chapter 4 Water Mage

Jellal, Erza, Gray and I had come for a stay at a spa we had all booked a private hot spring for us "what is it Juvia?" Erza asks noticing the concerned look on my face "I feel uneasy" I replied "are you sure it's alright leaving the kids alone?" I looked up in front of me at Gray "they'll be fine Sylvia can take care of herself and Rin" Gray replied "yes and Reiki's with her seeing as Rosemary was with Rin when we left" Jellal added "he probably went home with her by now though" I reasoned feeling uneasy "beside Nash is probably with her cause he can't seem to leave her alone" Gray says "knowing him he's probably sneaking back into the house right after being kicked out" he waved it off "they do seem to be closer than before she tagged along with them..." I say sinking deeper into the water.

We rushed back to Magnolia after Storm called me "I hope nothing terrible's happened to her" I say opening the door "Sylvia?" Gray calls as she looks up from her table "dad? what are you doing back so early?" Sylvia blinked in confusion "why didn't you call me after the situation?" I ask keeping my anger from rising "mama!" Rin says running towards us "I didn't get time beside there was no need to call you" Sylvia replied while Gray pestered over her "the situation was handled by Nash albeit quite recklessly" she deadpanned at him "did you get hurt? do you need something?" Gray asks checking her for injuries "you know I would've expected Juvia to be fussing over her instead of Gray" Lucy says sweatdropping Sylvia reassured him she was fine "what would they want with you though?" Erza asks raising a brow "well if you look at it this happened after our mission" Sylvia says "the mission but we had no problem with it..." Scarlet says "except the person warned us about a group of rogue mages after the jewel" she turned to her "along the way they must know something we don't so it was suspicious for us to have no problems" Sylvia pushes over a book "the bridge between ice and water?" I blinked in confusion "it's referring to a specific bloodline" she says "they could've easily picked another water mage and ice mage but..." tapping her finger on the page "of course the Lockser bloodline's known for their powerful magic" Luke concludes "so what was the purpose?" Gray asks confused she sighs going on to explain about the event further.

I breathe a sigh of relief my body relaxing "I'm so glad that she's ok"  I close my eyes "I just hope she isn't traumatised" Gray says.
