"Daddy's going to be a neko!"

There was a time... A day, a second - where everything was different.

For Seokjin, it was.

"SHIT!" Seokjin's father yelled out after a long night on the boat.

Seokjin had woken up by a shake, a wild shake of the boat. In his pajamas, he ran out onto the deck, yelling out to his father.

"Dad... We're going right towards a storm!" He yells. "We have to steer!"

"No! Seokjin, get back in here and wait it out!"

"No! Dad-"

"SEOKJIN!"

And that's the last Seokjin saw of his father when the boat was hit by a stormy wave of water, causing Seokjin to go with it and hit a rock in the depth.

Seokjin waves up with a deep sigh after getting used to the light. He's in his room, a soft weight against his body.

His husband...

The orange-haired neko smiles when he sees Seokjin awake.

"Morning..." He whispers.

"Good morning." Seokjin chuckles. "You know you don't have to wait for me to wake up."

"But I like staying next to you." Hoseok giggles. "Come on, I'll set up a cup of tea. Don't let it get cold."

Seokjin pecks Hoseok's soft lips before the neko gets up and walks out of their bedroom.

The moment Hoseok's out, a small cute neko boy runs inside. His son. Seokjin lets out a loud huff when the boy lands on his legs after a leap of faith.

"Daddy!" The cute neko boy smiles.

Hoseok crosses his arms with a soft giggle and a smile. "Jimin! He just woke up!"

"But I wanna say good morning to daddy!"

"And now you did, so let him get out of bed." Hoseok smiles, tail softly swaying.

Jimin pouts, but hops off Seokjin's legs and runs towards the kitchen. Hoseok gives his husband a sweet smile before following the little orange-haired neko.

Seokjin takes a few minutes before he sits up. He rubs his hands over his face when he notices a very dark brown tail, about the color of his hair.

"Since when...?"

"Seokjinnie!"

Seokjin looks up when he hears Hoseok yell. He quickly puts on a tank top and some comfortable jeans over his boxers, careful not to hurt his tail and leaving them just below his very own neko tail.

He can't really remember how or when he got it.

He places a black beanie over his head, hiding his bad-hair day.
