True Colors (A loki fanfiction)

Chapter 4

A/N I JUST REALISED HOW WRONG THE TRANSITION FROM THE LAST CHAPTER TO THE BEGINING OF THIS ONE SOUNDED. NOTHING HAPPENED, THEY GOT BACK, TESSA FELL ASLEEP, IN THE MORNING LOKI CAME TO WAKE HER UP BUT INSTEAD HE STAYED A BIT....but then again..it's all in the mind of the reader, you guys can imagine what ever you want ;) i just wanted to say that this was the original story plot

Tessa was slowly waking up. Loki was sitting beside her, starring at his beautiful little devil. She opened her eyes to be greeted by his warm gaze.

"Good morning" he said as he stroked her cheek. She smiled and sat up.

"So what now?" she asked looking up at him.

"The portal is finished. We'll leave in two hours. Then..." he paused. "The world will be ours" he finished with a grin.

Tessa kissed him on the cheek.

"Thanks for everything. You really changed my life" she said smiling. He smiled and helped her up to her feet.

"Prepare yourself. Today won't be as easy as the previous days" he said in a serious tone.

"I think I'll be ready" she said with a grin.

They had gotten on the jet and arrived at Stark tower. The portal was set up and Tessa gazed at the sky as the blue light shot into the sky and created a portal.

On the other side there was the dark universe. Soon after the portal was opened there were hundreds of things that flew out. Tessa ran to where Loki was standing on the lower level. She saw that he and Tony were talking.

She slowly approached Loki as Tony was pouring a glass of alcohol. Tessa gave Tony a devilish smile as she stood beside Loki.

She listened to their conversation until she was distracted by the flying things that were outside. She looked out the big glass window. She couldn't really explain what she saw before her but if she tried, it would be that she saw metal aliens riding on flying ski-doos.

Her thoughts were distracted by the sound of shattering glass. Loki had thrown Tony out of the window.

"One down, 5 more to go" Loki said with a smile.

But to Loki's surprise, Tony had come back but this time in his suit.

"Oh and there's one other person you pissed off. His name was Phil" he said as he shot Loki. Loki groaned as he hit the ground. Tessa ran over to him and tried to help him up.

"You okay?" she said raising an eyebrow.

"Fine" he said as he dusted himself off.

"Tessa, you take the ground, and I'll keep the skies" Loki ordered.

"Okay" Tessa said as she started heading towards the elevator.

Before she stepped in the elevator, Loki stopped her and turned her so she would be facing him. Once again their lips met, but only briefly.

"Be safe" he whispered. She smiled and stepped inside the elevator.

When she got outside, it was already chaos.

"These guys work fast" she said as she looked around her.

She ran to see where the avengers were and hid behind a building and watched. A man riding a motorcycle came in and as a giant serpent came in, he turned into the green rage monster she'd seen before. The incredible Hulk she thought remembering something about him in the news a couple years ago.
