To some people...They can be.

You should not label a person 'monster' or 'freak' upon sight.

A person could be born with a rare hair disorder that covers there entire body similar to a werewolf would U call them a monster.

Or an albino with 1 red & 1 gold eye at birth would U call them a freak.

 Would u label them just by appearance, or hurt them for something that they can't control?

 That these people have had since birth would you actually ridicule them and call them monster or freak... Just because of it?. 

I know that folklore and fantasy are not real but there are people that are born with different appearances and although the words monster and freak are not actually racist.

 To some people... They can be.
