(A/N: Hello again! I just listened to this song and this idea came to my mind. The song is from the movie "Pokemon: I choose you" and it is the credit theme song. And if you didn't know, the singer in this song is Serena's voice actress :)

Serena's POV:

I was upstairs in our house in a room that had nothing but an old piano and a few paintings on the walls. We had stopped in to greet my mother for a few days, but now it was time to go on. The others were out in the yard making everything ready for the journey, but I had said I would do one little thing before continuing. The others had nodded and so I had ended up here.

Sunlight flooded the window, illuminating the dust particles floating in the air. I slowly walked closer to the piano and as I touched its slightly dusty surface, many memories flooded my mind. My mother used to play it when I was a kid and she taught me a few songs as well. I was wondering if I could still play one of them.

I opened the piano lid and sat on the chair next to the piano. I pressed one of the strings ​​and it still played beautifully. Quickly, my fingers found the right places and the beautiful melody carried on the piano.

"Serena, where are you, we have to go!" I heard Ash's yelling downstairs. Of course, he had come to see why I was staying so long, he was always so caring about me. I blushed a little when I thought of him, I had been crush on him... no, in love, with him since we met as a child at Professor Oak's summer camp. I just hadn't been able to tell him about my feelings, half because I was shy and a half because he was so dense he wouldn't realize love or romance even though it hit him directly on the face. I sighed and continued playing.

"Serena, are you here?" I heard Ash ask from the corridor. I didn't answer because I was so into my thoughts. Someday our journey would end, and sooner or later we would depart for different roads. I wanted to tell Ash about my feelings before it happens, but I don't know how. Should I just say it directly to him or tell it in some other way? I had no idea and I was staring at the piano while my fingers were playing a beautiful melody. And then I figure out how to do it.

"Serena, are you here?" Ash asked as he entered the room where I am. I said nothing, but closed my eyes and let my fingers go where they wanted.   

"Wow, Serena! I didn't know you could play the piano!" Ash said excitedly, but as I still didn't answer, I felt his mood lower. "Serena, are you okay, you haven't said anything," he said confused and then I knew it was the right moment.

My fingers found the right parts of themselves and then I started singing.

I felt like Ash was just staring at me. He or no one had ever heard me sing. When I didn't say anything, I went on.

"Serena..." Ash started but couldn't continue because I didn't want to stop singing.

I heard Ash walk closer, but still stopped playing and singing.

Finally, I opened my eyes and saw Ash looking at me. There was a faint red on his face, wait, what, did he really blush, and slowly he walked to me.

"Serena.." he said, and before I could do anything, he grabbed my arm causing me to blush violently, and then whispered in my ear, "Then I'll choose you too."
