Peril x Turtle (Love) (Pertle)

Perils POV

                                                                              Part one.

Peril walked down the halls, heading towards the prey center. It was mid-day, and she wasn't quite hungry...more like she hoped for something to be there. someone.

Ok, so, maybe she diiid have a iddi bitti crush on Turtle. but, whats not to like? She blew out a flame as she sighed when his image came to mind, scaring off a little MudWing.

He was shy, bit not too much. Nice, quite but funny, and most importantly, He doesn't cower in fear when she walks towards him! Unlike that MudWing  Peril thought, glancing at the brown and copper tail that dissipeared around the corner behind her.

Then one thought came to her mind, almost to fast she couldn't even think about why it was there.  Would he be my mate? and maybe even...mate with me? She shook her head. Of course he would say no! Clay kindly rejected her, saying he didn't quite have feelings, and she didn't want to go through that again. (I think clay is gay UwU)

That nagging thought came to her mind again. Well, he IS a animus, so he could take off her fire scales with like, a fire-resistant bracelet or something. But defently not a necklace. noo not that again.  She shivered, spite her literally being on fire.

Well, it can't hurt to try....

Turtles POV

Ugh, it was back. That feeling.  It was like a crab that kept on pinching you.

Ever since DarkStalker turned into Peacekeeper, and Kinkajou lived in the Rainforest almost all the time, he kind of lost his feelings for her. and now he felt something deeper, like his heart wanted love. (Sorry Turtljou fans, i am one too but its for the sake of lemon ;>)

He was heading to the Prey center, hoping Pike or someone brought fish. Maybe he could find someone to talk to.  A Big fat juicy salmon and a friend to talk to sounds better than anything right now.

                                                                      Part Two.

Perils POV

Peril walked into the prey center, and when she saw Turtle near a group of NightWings trying pitifully to get a fish, her heart leaped. He's here!

As she took a step closer, His head shot Up and the other NightWings took their prey and ran away. She Sometimes got hurt by that, but this time she didn't because she wanted to be alone with Turtle.

She noticed that he was shuffling and ducking his head more than usual, and she felt curious. ''Hey, Turtle. Something up? I was watching you by the entrance.'' The second the words came out, she regretted it. Oh wow, now you sound like a weird creepy dragon, Peril.

''Oh, uh, n-no, nothing much.'' He Looked at her with something in his eyes. I could say it was something like...Want? Longing? But what would he need? Suddenly she felt embarrassed that she wanted to ask him to mate, and she knew he would reject her like Clay did anyways. It was her turn to shuffle.

''Well, do you know somewhere we could go in...privet? Like a place no other dragon goes?'' Oh, wow Peril. now you sound like a dragon trying to murder him. Can't you say one thing right?

Turtles POV

His head was spinning. On one talon, Why was Peril Watching him? On the second, How did she know something was wrong? And Third, Why did she want to ask him a question in privet? Turtle shook his head and looked  at her. ''Yeah, i know somewhere.''

As He led Peril down a trail of twists and turns, He finally got to the place. It was the  Under ground River with the open roof, And only He and Moon knew about it.

''Wow... How did you find this place?'' Peril breathed, looking around. Turtle wadded knee deep into the river. ''Well, a lot of exploring. nothing else to do when you don't have anyone to hangout with or want.''  He suddenly got a burst of memories of all the things he had done with peril and wondered...Is she more than a friend?

Turtle mentally winced, thinking he got to the point too fast. Peril looked at him Curiously, and he returned her gaze.  ''So, What was the question?''

Perils POV

Suddenly, Peril felt like a dragonet again. She knew the answer would be a disgusted flick of the tail and a 'no', but it is worth the try.

She looked down at her talons and blurted; ''IWasWonderingIfYouLikedMeLikeHowILikeYouBecauseIWantToBeYourMate'' She mumbled, and turtle looked her, pure shock. ''I know your going to say no so.. say it already.''

''well,'' Turtle looked at her, with that same look as before but stronger. ''I Think..I might like you too..? I have been having this feeling and..'' Turtle trailed off, looking away. Some of the lights flashed on his back as if telling himself something in aquatic.

Peril didn't believe her ears. Turtle, liking her back? well, he would defiantly say no to mating with her, even if he did make a fire-proof bracelet. 

''Well, Do you want to be my mate?'' She asked, feeling like all the fire was drained from her in desperation. ''well,'' Turtle looked at her. ''Of Course!''

Turtles POV

Turtle ran towards Peril, his wings wide open only to stop himself the last second. Oops...better not forget about her fire scales. He though, awkwardly backing up with a apologetic expression.

''Oh, its fine'' Peril smiled, making him feel a hundred times better. ''You know...'' Turtle tipped his head sideways, thinking. ''i don't think i realized how much things i did with you, and how much...'' He blushed. ''How special and cute and wonderful you are.'' He winced That was probably a little too sappy... But its true. He looked up at Peril. ''Its fact. I love you.''

Saying it like that made Turtle think of all the romance story's he has read.  They were not  His Favorite, But sometimes they were better than reading only the story's his mother, Queen Coral Wrote. Lost in thought, he was slightly startled when a bright steaming face with pretty blue eyes popped into his line of sight. Peril had leaned down, (since she was much taller than him) And stared in his face with a amused expression. ''Somethings on your mind, Turtle'' She said, blinking. She sat down beside him, her firescales warming up his body in a abnormal but cool way.



Oof im sorry everyone that i haven't posted in a while, things have been busy. but i wrote some more today, and i am hoping that i will start posting normally like before. sorry, stay safe people! :3
