Miyeon's P O V
"Ahh!" I sat up from my bed, panting, having trouble breathing, and, crying.
"Ma'am! Are you okay?" Jo asked, and I replied by nodding.
"Please bring me a glass of water, and please call in Ji Eun." I sighed,
Another nightmare, I guess.
Each night, I get a nightmare that has a story. A story that has fascinated, yet scared me. A story of me, protecting a guy named "Brian". A story where I'm good at combat and defense.
It has been going for 8 nights straight, and each night, the nightmares continue, as if I'm reading a book with continuous chapters.
"Miyeon!" I see Ji Eun smile, and I smiled back at her.
Ji Eun, she had been my best friend since we were 4.
"Hey, IU, where's Mark?" I asked, she laughed,
"Mark is out with Joon Gi, no need to worry." She hugged me tightly,
"These nightmares. They are very similar to my life." I whispered softly.
"Look, those are just nightmares. We don't know any guy named "Brian". Nor do we know anyone from a wealthy family with the surname "Kang"." Ji Eun looked into my eyes,
"Why is Mark in my dream?" I asked,
"It's because Mark is a person whom you love." Ji Eun smiled wider, and she looked at Jo, who was holding a tray with a glass of water, which she placed down.
"What about my brother?" I asked,
"Your brother died in a car accident, he did not get murdered. You're probably still traumatized that you thought of that." Ji Eun's smile faded.
Maybe Ji Eun is right.
Maybe the world with "Brian" was just a nightmare after all.
