A week had passed of not seeing John tensions were still growing, as our weapon supply grew so did the number of police.

One evening John came running towards me yelling help help madam my sister she's in labour and all the nurses are off helping others. he was desperate so I followed him to the makeshift hospital where Sandy lay breathing rapidly and frothing at the mouth, screams filled the are as the contractions came. I grabbed her legs and pushed them to her chest and pulled her skirt back as I told John to get hot or warm water and possibly a clean knife. I had done this million of times before on the streets but this one was the worse birth I had ever seen.

John returned with the knife and hot water, panic and fear written across his face as I told Sandy to push. Nothing was happening and Sandy was growing nearer and nearer to death. I pull John aside and Whispered I can probably save the baby I just can't save her. He nods and I get back to delivering the baby telling her when to push and telling John what to do.

When the last push came I saw the head but felt Sandy let one last groan out and stop breathing John looks desperately at me yelling what do we do? I yell ok you need to do CPR do you know how to do that? he nodded and started as I pulled the baby out.

The baby was out and already crying however nothing could bring back Sandy. I whisper sorry John I can't save her she's in a better place now and yes it is my fault ok! tears were streaming down my face, I was a sweaty big mess.

Realisation flooded across John's face which was quickly replaced with sadness and something else I couldn't tell.  He started shaking at first I thought he was laughing then it turns out he was crying that cry that makes you feel helpless and stirs even the roughest toughest soul into a helpless soul.

He was hurting but he wasn't yelling at me or even angry he sobbed "Sammy I'm sorry, I'm so sorry oh god what have I become? how is the baby? I'm so sorry I shouldn't have yelled at you or told you to leave. I need you without you I'm just an emotional wreck.

Not knowing what to do I grab the clueless baby and place in his arms and say he needs a dad. At first, he looks scared then he starts rocking the baby and whispers Sammy he also needs a mummy will you be my partner and this little lad's mum?

I feel a sob trying to escape I start shaking and hit the ground hard tangled up in my dress which is smugged with blood dirt and now tears. I feel John move and put an arm around me, whispering in his sexy soft Scottish accent If you want I can be your sexy Scottish god?

I sob a hard gut-wrenching sob " I'll be your damsel in distress and I am sorry about Sandy I should have been there I could have done more!

now we were both crying on the cold hard ground with a small innocent fragile baby boy between us. Holding each other and crying until there were no more tears to cry. When we turned around a hundred or so people filled the alley all looking as distraught as us, Sandy's life had brought us together and helped so many to support each other at this time of uncertainty and sadness.

John gets up holding my hand and yells " My sister may have died tonight but her legacy lives on reuniting friendship in this tough time spreading love and her legacy still lives on and that legacy will bring freedom, peace, wealth and prosperity not just to a certain amount of people but to everyone. TONIGHT THE WAR BEGINS! WHO IS WITH ME!

Cheers and fist fill the once quiet solum air as I yell" TONIGHT WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED WE WILL BE LOUD AND PROUD WE WILL FIGHT FOR THE LIVES THAT HAVE BEEN LOST AND THE LIVES THAT CONTINUE TO BE LOST! Tonight is our turn to show them hows boss

With that everyone flooded out towards where we kept the weapons and John ran up to an officer and yelled tell whoever you need to that the war is starting now choose your side carefully we will meet you over on the meadow just outside of town if your corporate agrees to our terms and conditions we will end this war if they don't the war has started.

With that, the officer ran wide-eyed east as we headed west towards the meadow where we agreed to meet. John made most people hide in bushes behind trees and in shadows so if things get messy during negotiation then we have the upper hand he also made all children and elderly stay behind so only the ones that wanted to came the rest stayed with the kids and Sandy's baby boy.

THE WAR HAD STARTED
