You are Y/N L/N. You are a teenager from beach city. You are a outgoing type of guy. You usually are quite talkative. You are good friends with the Crystal Gems. You're Steven's very best friend. You two have been friends since childhood. He has always been there for you and you for him. Today you were planning to hang out with him.
Y/N POV.
I'm going to see Steven today,we were planning on having a picnic on the beach. Soon after making sure I'm ready I start walking to the spot we agreed to meet at. Soon I meet up with him. "Hey Steven." "Hi Y/N!" He says happily. We then make our way towards the beach. It's good spending time with him like this,he used to be so busy,but now he isn't as how much he was. "How are you by the way?" He asks me suddenly. "I'm doing great actually, how bout you?" I ask him. "I'm great too." He says smiling. Soon,we finally arrive at the beach. "Alright let's get it all set." I say. He Nods we then start to lay the blanket across the sand,we were sharing one,not that either of us minded,it was big enough for both of us.
We then sit on the blanket and watch the sea. "Hey Y/N..." Steven says out of nowhere. "Yeah Steven?" I ask him. "Have,you ever...um...liked anyone? Ya know...like like?" He asks slowly. "Well,yeah actually." I say. Steven looks down but then at me. "W-well,have you told them how you feel?" Steven asks. "Well not yet,me and this person have a good friendship. I don't wanna ruin it. Because I'm not sure how they feel about me." I say. Steven looks down again. "I see." I then look at him and think for a bit.
"How about you?" I ask him. "Well....um....y-yeah,I'm pretty much in the same situation as you." He tells me. Interesting hmm.. "Aha,I see." I say,I then look over at him some more. "Well,let's do this,how bout we go on the phone,and just text our crushes how we feel?" I suggest to him. "You sure Y/N? I don't know..." He tells me clearly unsure. "Well what's the worse that could happen?" I ask him. "Y-you are right. I'll do it." He says to me. "Great! I'll do it too." He takes out his phone and I soon follow. I hold my phone in a way that Steven can't see what I'm typing. I then go to his number and start typing. After I'm done I look over at him. "How bout we send it at the same time?" I ask him.
"Sure thing."He says nodding. "On the count of three...One...two...three.." I then send,and almost at the same time I get a text from Steven. It reads "I love you." As I read it I am shocked, almost to the point where I don't hear Steven Gasp. I look over at him. He looks at me with a red face. "Y-Y/n..." He says shyly. "Steven...I ..." I say. Unable to get the right words. Steven scoots closer to me and sits in front of me. "D-do you...really like me?" He asks. "Well...yeah...do...you like me?" I ask him. He turns more red and nods slowly. Gosh he is so cute. He then looks down. "Does this mean..." He starts. I slowly rub his hair and he looks up at me. I smile and nod at him.
"If you want it to..yes." I say smiling. He blushes more and hugs me tightly. I chuckle and hug him back. "I love you Y/N L/N." "I love you too Steven Universe." I say. Whoa,I never felt this happy in my life.
