~ Izzy's POV ~
We were inside the house and I was busy bandaging Zen's arm, when he started talking to us.
"No one lives in this house, but we spend a lot of time here. So the one getting beaten at chess over there is Mitsuhide, the one doing the beating is Kiki." Zen says. Introducing his friends.
I look over to see that it was true, poor Mitsuhide was losing.
"Zen, how do you know I'm losing when you aren't even paying attention to the game?" Asks Mitsuhide.
"I can just tell." Zen smirks, while Mitsuhide pouts.
"I'm shellacking you." Kiki states while Mitsuhide groans in annoyance.
I chuckle at this, while I finished with Zen's arm.
"Ok, you're all fixed up now." I smile, then feeling Shirayuki grab my arm and put a bandage on it as well.
"Wow, you've got impressive skill Isabelle." He says as he looks at his arm.
"I've been at this a while, I did tell you we were herbalists." I say, kinda stating the obvious.
"Yes you did. So why did a pair of talented herbalists run away from home." He asks.
Shirayuki finished with my arm as we both look down, her speaking up.
"The reasons is not important." She says in a blunt tone.
I could sense Zen staring at me, and I was getting a little bit uncomfortable with everything that is going on. As it was reminding me of, home.
"Excuse me, I need some air." I say getting up to go outside for a bit.
"I'll come with you." Says Shirayuki.
*~*~*~*~*
Shirayuki and I were walking around enjoying the fresh air, when I remembered a certain white haired boy was following us. I look at him from the corner of my eye.
"Hey, why did you come with us?" I ask.
"I couldn't let you go into these woods all by your lonesome, that would be quite un-gentlemanly." He says turning to look at me.
I chuckle and run ahead of Shirayuki and Zen.
"Oddball, first off I'm not alone I have Shirayuki and second we became very comfortable in the mountains and forest while training to be herbalists." I say.
I look up at the clear blue sky, the nice breeze blowing my hair to the side, as I was remembering about my old home and how I would go out hunting with my father when I was just a girl of fifteen.
~ 3rd Person POV ~
Shirayuki and Zen smiled at the blonde not realising a frown that appeared on her face as her back was turned to them, Shirayuki leaned her back on a tree while standing enjoying the weather as well.
"The time and air seem to flow differently then they do in town, I actually like it much better." Shirayuki says.
"I couldn't agree more." Zen says, looking up at the sky.
Isabelle turns and smiles at him, a little blush spreads across her cheeks. She then smirks.
"Look who isn't all bluff and bluster." She says, as a blush quickly spreading across his own face as he looks down trying to hide it.
"Ow." Isabelle and Zen hear as they look at Shirayuki, then walk over to her.
"That really hurts." She says.
"Oh looks like your hairs caught, you have a strand that's longer than the others." Zen says looking at the strand of hair.
"Oh, you must have missed that piece earlier." Isabelle says trying to get it unstuck.
"Ah, hey Zen! Will you cut it off for me, it doesn't have to be straight." Shirayuki asks him.
Zen smirks at the girls, and walks away a little bit.
"Possibly, but I'll only do it if you both answer a question for me." He says.
A soft huh came from both girls.
"Did cutting your hair have something to do with running away from home? If you tell me the reason maybe then I can help you." He asks.
Isabelle glares at him, "Your a terrible person." She says.
