Leah's POV...

After school yesterday I was beat and so tired . Thank god today is Saturday though .

This is thanksgiving week and my job said they didn't really need me so I'm off .

I just layed Jacob down for his nap so that's good . As I was walking to the kitchen , my phone buzzed , indicating that I had a message.

I opened it up and it was a text from an unknown number .

3944959757- aye wassup ma this tremaine.

If only he could see my face right now. My heart started to beat fast and my cheeks turned red like roses.

Me- hey , and nothing much Wby.

Tremaine- nothing , that's why I want to take you out to get to know you better.

Or nah....

Me- yea well thanks but I don't have anyone to watch my son so..

Tremaine- that fine , little man can come too. I love little kids.

Really ?

Me- ok

Tremaine- just send me the directions to your house and I'll be there by 4.

I texted him the directions and looked at the time on my phone. It's only 1:44 , so I have enough time.

Going through my closet I didn't see nothing very presentable to go out on a date with. I might just text him and call it off.

Just as I was about to text him I remembered the dress I always wore for special occasions.

I didn't have that kind of money to buy fancy things but this dress was special to me.

I layed the dress out on my bed and sat my under garments next to it.

I took a nice hot shower and motioned my legs and arms . For my hair I just decided to leave it wavy.

Coming out the bathroom , I slid on my panties and the matching bra to it. I put on my dress and decided on wearing my turquoise sandals to match the dress color.

I grabbed my purse putting everything I needed inside of it . I looked down at my phone and it was 2:50.

Ok , ok , I still have time.

I went into Jacobs room and put him on his little Jordan outfit his dad bought him before he died . I brushed his curly hair and grabbed his car seat putting him in .

I carried him downstairs and gathered a few snacks for him to have .

Looking at my phone again it was 3:45. Well , I have 15 minutes left until he shows up so I'll just watch tv .

At the dinner

He ended up taking us to red lobster . I use to always go out to eat when my boyfriend was alive .

"So tell me about yourself". I asked him

"Well I'm 18 , and I'm the only child. I kinda been on my own and had to show myself the right and wrong things to do. My daddy was a big drug lord but later got killed by some people he owed some product to. What about yourself"

I began telling him about me and he just smiled.

"Why do you keep smiling" oh shit here I go blushing again .

" because what you been through is amazing . And you're still in school , got your own place and everything. I applaud you girl".

"Well thanks you".

Jacob started crying which meant he was ready to go or sleepy.

"Well I think it's time for us to go because it's almost time for him to go to sleep".

"Ok then ma".

He got up from the booth and carried the car seat out strapping him into the seat belts.

At home

I had a good time today and we ended the night up with a kiss. It was probably too early for that but oh well , I was in the moment.

I just got done bathing him so now he's sleep , now it's time for me to go .
