Hey guys! We're finally at the party scene ^°^
Your p.o.v.
Ben has challenged me to like the 10th match on Mario on our D.S'. This guy really hates loosing. ^°^
"One last go!"
I roll my eyes and shake my head.
"No! It's like your twenty-th go."
I glance anxiously at the clock ticking away in the corner.
"Come on Benny, it's nine o clock already. It'll take us a good half an hour to get there, and Selena's already got it in for me. Plus, we still have to change into the stupid clothes, remember?"
I look at Ben and roll my eyes at him before snatching the D.S. out of his hands.
Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed hanging out with Ben all day, but it's built a wall of nervousness inside me. Sitting on my butt for an hour just playing games is heaven, but it's built tension in my mind.
All I'm saying is that I never wanted to go to this stupid party in the first place, and now I'm sweating.
"Okay. I'll go into my bedroom and change, you put your dress and makeup on here. Half an hour maximum okay?" I shake my head and push him out of the room, laughing.
Great, now I have to put this dress on. ;_;
**Half an hour later**
"Ben!" I call for him loudly. I'm wearing the dress, which suddenly feels to tight against my chest. I put a mint coloured glove on my right hand, and I'm holding a black mask. I was meant to be a "fairy".
Don't judge me, it's a masquerade ball. ;_;
I learnt how to put my eye makeup through YouTube and just left my lips with a pink tint. I feel like it's racing off of my face, and lot's more on my face then I normally wear (which is nothing.) I hold the black laced mask up to my face as Ben walks in. He's wearing a suit with a matching mask, and his hair is gelled down.
Wow...
"Shall we go then, fairy?" He asks.
I stick my middle finger up at him and he smirks. Ben heads out first, unlocking the door. I step out carefully, not wanting to move too much in my expensive dress.
We booked a taxi in advance, but we did have to stand around waiting for a few minutes, which made me think if anyone was looking at my costume. I wrap my hands around my bare arms, trying not to freeze to death, as it's already getting dark.
I try to make conversation while we wait in the cold night air.
"Your house is beautiful, by the way. It looks super new."
Ben nods awkwardly. He looks as if he's taking the credit for something he didn't do.
"Yeah, since that accident happened I felt like I should keep the house perfect, like I'm doing it for my parents. You know?"
This time it was my turn to nod awkwardly. For some reason, I couldn't quite believe him. I said before that I feel like he's reading from a script; Ben is saying all the right words but it seems like he doesn't means any of it.
Then as if by magic, the taxi appears to save us from the unrealistic atmosphere.
I clamber in with Ben behind me, and I sit up nervously while the taxi hits the road.
