Chapter 8

Key's POV:

*in my bathroom*

I turned on my speakers and they were playing Trumpet Lights by Chris Brown. I got in the shower and started to wash myself and my hair I felt the hot water fall down my back and I got goose bumps because it felt so good getting rid of the sticky sensation on me felt like a blessing because I hate stickiness. When I was finished I got out and put on some shorts and a tank top and pulled my hair up in a messy bun brushed my teeth washed my face and walked back into my room and sat on my bed next to Christian.

"Christian you know you don't have to stay with me you can go to school" I said putting the covers over me

"Ok you're crazy asf if you think I'm leaving you here by yourself" Christian said

"So you gonna stay with me all day" I asked

"Yes why not" Christian said laying next to me

I got up and started to walk towards the door

"Where are you going" Christian asked

"To get my candy" I said

I walked out of my room and into Alexis' I went into her dresser got my candy. I walked back into my room and found Christian shirtless

"I hope you don't mind I wanted to get comfortable" Christian said

"Nah you straight" I said with my cracking voice

"You ok" Christian said laughing at me

"Yea I'm good" I said trying to fix my voice

"Tay come sit on the bed and talk to me" Christian said

"About what" I said walking to my dresser to get my charger

"Your life" Christian said

"um ok" I said

I walked over to my bed and sat down with my kit kat in my hand.

"What about my life" I asked

"Are you the only child" Christian asked

"No I have 3 other sisters" I said

"Where are they" Christian asked

"One is at school and the other two are....."

I took a long pause and tried to control the tears that were forming in my eyes

".......are dead" I said

"OMG what happened" Christian asked

"They got into a car accident with my mother while me and one of my sisters were looking at something my oldest sister and I made a couple years ago" I explained

"So your mom died to" Christian asked

"Yes" I said

I could hold it in anymore I cried my eyes out right then and there. Christian sat up and hugged me.

"It's gonna be okay baby girl don't worry I will always be here for you and I will never leave you" Christian said

"Thank you Christian " I said still crying

"I love you Key'launi " Christian said kissing my forehead

"I love you too my baby" I said rubbing his arm

"Where's your dad" Christian asked

" I never met my dad" I explained

"Really" Christian asked

"Yep but it's all Gucci mane I turned out pretty good" I said

"No you didn't" Christian said

"What" I said shockingly

"You turned out great" Che smiled

I smiled really hard I love Christian so much I was staring into his eyes when my phone started to ring.

Key: hello

Alexis: hey Key

Key: waddup baby girl

Alexis: Can you take me to lunch when you get out for lunch

Key: I'm not at school I skipped but sure I'll take you out

Alexis: yay and why did you skip

Key: long story I'll tell you later

Alexis: ok see you in a few

Key: bye bae

Alexis : bye love

I hung up the phone and looked at Christian.

"Do you wanna go out to eat with me and my little sister" I asked

"Sure when and where" Christian asked

"In a few hours and idk olive garden maybe" I said

"Ok" Christian said excitedly

"What time is it" I asked

"9:03" Christian responded

"Shit I'm going back to sleep" I said turning my TV on and turning my light off

"Wanna come" I said getting back under my cover

"Sure but I don't wanna sleep in this though" Christian said pointing to his body

I walked into my closet and brought out my Lakers basketball shorts.

"Do you really think I can fit these" Christian asked chuckling

"Trust me you can....... I always buy really big basketball shorts" I said

"Why" Christian asked

"Because they are very comfortable" I said

"I own everything.. Basketball shorts, boxers, wife beaters EVERYTHING" I explained

"And again i ask WHY" Christian aked

"I have my guy moments" I said

"You're such a weirdo" Christian laughed

"I know" I smiled

"You coming or not" I asked laying on my bed

"Yea after I change" Christian said

"By all means" I said gesturing my hand away

When Christian goes to change I change my TV and put it on That's So Raven my favorite throwback show of all time. Christian came back into my room and laid on my bed and we watched TV for a while and was knocked within 10 mins.
