It was about six in the evening when I and prabhleen were having a coffee in the hospital's cafeteria...
Today I was a little bit sleepy... and as Poppy were to drive back home,..I had already planned for a successful sleep beside Prabhleen while she would be driving....
Just as I was paying the bill on the counter my ears went to the sudden increase in the volume of the television.... there was a news flashing again and again on the screen....
It then showed how a 3year old girl lost her mom and dad in an accident . It made me cry...."Thank God that Poppy hasn't seen this"
Reaching back home, I changed my clothes and sat by the window..
Tears ran down my eyes... Quickly wiping my tears off,I thought...
The reason for me crying was that I witnessed the same accident 7years ago..Prabhleen too...
We were 11 years of age when this happened... We both the BESTEST FRIENDS on earth lost our parents... both mum and dad... it happened 7years ago when we were11years of age...
They were run over by a overloaded truck but fortunately we both were saved...
We both were in the school during all this.... We came to know about it in the evening....
After becoming alone in this world...
My uncle , he took care of both of us till now.... and then after completing our graduation..
We came here to settle for the rest of our lives. From then I only live for 2 people in this world - Poppy... and my uncle .... Thank you...
I realized that it was the first time in7 years was missing mum and dad... And I guess Poppy too was missing as she either might have seen me crying or she also might have seen the news...
Being younger,Poppy still is more mentally stronger than me....
