After an explosion, You XiaoMo finds that he is now a probationary disciple of the TianXin Sect. However, he is one with dubious potential, so just when he starts to adapt to his new circumstances, he receives bad news. If he is unable to produce the required result after half a year to become an official disciple of the TianXin Sect, he will be driven out of the sect.
While You XiaoMo is going all out to make medicine and earn money, he runs into Ling Xiao. To his horror, he later discovers that Ling Xiao is really someone cloaked in human skin.
My thoughts : It is a very interesting novel which you shouldn't miss if you are a fan of fantasy setting and comedy. Thought the summary is not very accurate about what the story will be detailing out, but the novel is very in depth and crisp so even if you don't like the summary, still give it a chance.
The MC is dimwitted at times, but only because ML is cunning and more sharp in comparison. There is suspense for long about ML's background but once you will know, you will be shocked.
Although the MC is always teased by the Ml for being slow and having less IQ, but the character of our MC is sly and very mature.
There will be death of minor characters, but you won't find it surprising for long, the story is light and the comedy keeps it running.
I urge you to read this, it is worth it.
