jeongguk was often late to class.
taehyung took it upon himself and proclaimed it to be his own fault though this could be disputed rather easily.
it rested solely on his shoulders; the prime reason being, he enjoyed turning jeongguk's alarm off rather frequently.
it wasn't supposed to be any harm, he just didn't want the younger to be distributed from his sound sleep so early in the morning while taehyung was busy getting ready.
he'd stumble down from the top bunk of their rickety boarding school bed and lunge to mute the boys phone from his bedside table, a second too late; he'd start to stir.
and taehyung definitely didn't want that.
"did you sleep well ggukie?" taehyung mused as the younger boy takes his seat next to him, he looked well awakened now, his cheeks flushed and rosy in the morning air.
"i can never remember turning my alarm off," jeongguk huffed, opening up his backpack to remove his belongings. "it's my third late this fortnight."
"sleep is important." taehyung smiled- though of course, he was being a little more than biased.
never in his life had he seen someone so still calm. so innocent. taehyung didn't want to ruin it one single bit. he did what he could to keep it that way... perfect.
"school's more important." the smaller frowned, furrowing his brows at the long equations on the boards that the teacher had wrote down before his arrival. sure, school was important, but taehyung could argue against that for an eternity when it came to jeongguk's health.
"if you say so." he whispered.
when would he see?
how incredible he was to him.
