Chapter 12

Jack let out curse as Vince approach him and miko who also cursed when seeing Vince coming at them. Vince stopped in front of the two but before he could uttered a word Miko was first to speak with a ice like tone.

Miko: "What the hell do you want Vince don't you have others to bully?"

Vince let out a grumble at Miko's comment. Jack placed a hand on Miko's shoulder and said.

Jack: "Miko cool it. What is it Vince?"

Vince: "well it's about y/n. No one has seen him in nearly a month a lot of people are worried. And...I wanted to apologize but ya know he's not here"

Both Miko and Jack looked at one another with a weird look, this was a surprise for the both of them.

Jack: "We haven't seen him. I'm sorry but we have to go, Have a nice day"

Vince could hear the untruthfulness in those words and grabbed jacks arm raising his voice.

Vince: "You're lying don't fuck with me Darby! There's been rumours that he isn't human and there's the fact he blew a guy away at point blank range do you know anything?"

Jack: "No! Now leave us alone!"

Jack pushed Vince off and stared walking away from Vince with Miko. Vince looked annoyed but didn't pursue them.

Y/n struck a match lighting the space he stood in. The small space was dark and very tight, none of the boys could fit that's for sure. Y/n crawled a few more feet before muttered several curses under his breath. The matchs flame died as it touched his cold robotic fingers. Damn there goes another match, Y/n thought as he pulled another out and struck it.

Bulkhead: "did you find it yet?!"

Y/n cocked his head back and replied his voice echoing in the vent.

Y/n: "Nooooo not even close, little guy hauled ass that's for sure"

All this for a cat, Y/n mused.

Bulkhead: "Anything we can do?"

Y/n thought for a moment and responded.

Y/n: "Yea, increase the air flow, last thing I need to do is pass out!"

After a moment the air got cooler and the breeze brushed across Y/n's face. That's better, Y/n told himself as he shimmied forward. He reached the Junction and cursed aloud and pulled out the small hand held device. It beeped as Y/n flicked the power switch and a small LCD screen came to life. A small cone of range appeared  on the screen and a flickering dot move off to the left of Y/n. Good Fowler brought one by for me to test, Y/n thought as he shimmied down the left tunnel. What nut job designed this  the death star crew from legends am I gonna find an exhaust Port that blows up the building, Y/n bitterly thought as he toughed the feeling of claustrophobia away. The dot on the tracker go closer making Y/n smile in relief.

Y/n: " Jones here Jones, come on you furry little bastard"

Y/n cursed as he slowly pulled himself through the vent after a few pulls he reached a incline.

Y/n: "OH FUCK THAT SHIT!"

His voiced echoed through the vent and moments later a response came.

Ratchet: "What is it!?"

Y/n: "Theres a slope infront of me and theres no chance I can crawl up that!"

Y/n shouted back. Y/n began nudging backwards and reached the Junction and used it to turn around and began slithering to Ratchet. Y/n reached the mouth of the vent and pulled himself out from the tight space. Rolling onto his back he let out an exhausted sigh his body ached.

Y/n: "I'll get to the upper level and try from there"

Ratchet nodded as Y/n pulled himself to his metallic feet. Y/n climbed the latter and removed the grate to the vent at the top of the latter. Y/n laid the grate to the side and crawled into the small tunnel. He checked the tracker and saw the cat was less than two and a half meters away.

Y/n: "Here Jones come on bud I'm right here"

Unknown: "Meow"

At brown with black striped cat ran towards Y/n and rubbed its self against Y/n's face. There you are, Y/n thought as he slowly started making his way to the exit with Jones in toe.
