jiwoo bounced on her heels, biting her lips in anticipation. just a few more minutes. her fingers drummed restlessly against the vase of flowers in her hands. finally, a polished voice spoke through the intercom.
"flight 202 has arrived." jiwoo immediately stood up, scanning the growing crowd for that special brunette of hers. unfortunately, jiwoo was rather short...so she was simply swept into the chaos. with a internal sigh, she managed to separate herself & stand off to the side. finally, finally she saw the apple of her eye.
sooyoung was more attractive than ever, her short hair styled in soft waves. jiwoo ran over to the taller girl, gripping onto her vase for dear life. the younger one practically melted into sooyoung, hugging her tightly.
"sooyoungie!! i missed you, you twat."
"i missed you too, bub." sooyoung smiled when she noticed the flowers, and jiwoo held them in front of her like a child proudly showing off a drawing. sooyoung, why'd you have to go get such an adorable girlfriend? she's gonna kill you one of these days.
"do you like them? i got you tulips because they're really pretty & they're so unique and they remind me of you, but it's okay if you don't like them! i could go get you something el-" jiwoo's tangent was cut off by her girlfriend using two fingers to pinch her mouth closed. ALSKSKSKSKSK SOOYOUNG THIS IS A MACDONALD'S DRIVE-THRU.
"hush, chuu. they're perfect, just like you. now, i have something for you." jiwoo immediately brightened, jumping out of sooyoung's clasp.
moving smooth as glass, sooyoung pulled a box out of her pocket & kneeled. strangers pulled out their phones or gathered around excitedly, but the girls were blind. they couldn't see anything but each other.
"jiwoo, you're the best damn thing to ever knock me over in gym. that day, way back in highschool, i knew you were the one for me. my little penguin. i want to spend the rest of my life with you, because you're the orbit to my satellite. will you marry me? please?" sooyoung's eyes were warm with affection, and jiwoo's face was wet with tears.
"yes."
