I can't believe tony has accepted to adopt the baby. I couldn't control my emotions when our friends cheered for us. I didn't know i was crying until tony wiped my tears and kissed my cheeks.
Bruce patted Tony's shoulder and they hugged each other. Bucky and Nat came to me. Nat kissed my cheek "congratulations steve, finally your own family" my blood rushed to my face "yes, Thanks Nat" "CONGRATULATIONS CAPTAIN AND MAN OF IRON"
"When are you guys adopting? after the wedding or now?" Clint asked and i saw tony for the answer. Today, tomorrow or after our wedding, all that matters to me is I'm getting my boy.
"Stevie what do you say" Tony threw his arm over my waist. "Ummm, what do you think Tony" i am not sure. This is a big leap to Tony. He was so traumatised to become a father, he may need time to digest the change.
To my surprise, he said "let's get him after arranging a room for him. We should have a flower boy in our wedding, don't we?"
"Oh Tony" i again embraced him. He hugged me back. "You guys have your own room for a reason" clint is super jealous of us, I can say that. Tony said clint likes pietro but he is in denial.
Me and Tony took the elevator to our floor. Tony smacked my ass while getting out of the lift. I rolled my eyes at him "behave"
"Tony, what should we name him" i asked cuddling to his side on the couch. "I have three in mind. Peter, Richard, Elijah" i was astonished, all three were perfect.
"Peter would suit him more" i said "how about parker for middle name" he asked.
"Peter parker Rogers-Stark" perfect, it sounds perfect.
"I have work in the lab, I'll inform the pirate and you go shop for the baby" tony extended his credit card. Is he kidding? "No Tony, i can't do that alone"
"Take others help steve. Make sure everything isn't in the cliche blue." Tony kissed me and left to his lab.
"Jarvis where are the others?" I asked the AI.
"Agent Romanoff and Barnes are in the common room captain" he replied.
"Thank you so much for accompanying me guys" i looked both the sides at Nat and Bucky.
"Wrong choice, i kno nothing about kids" Bucky sounded so confused.
"Me too Bucky" i shrugged my shoulders.
Nat shook her head "steve that's not a positive note when you're having a baby in few days. If you're not sure, you should probably not do it"
"Nat calm down, he was comforting me. Steve knows better than anybody else about a baby" bucky defended me asusual.
"You're talking about me bucky" i pointed to myself and we entered IKEA.
"Ohh wow, these cribs are so smol and cute" i was melting at the spot. I hope all this isn't a dream. Gettin married, having a baby boy, shoppin for him.
A young girl approached us, she must be the staff here. "What colour and what type of crib you're looking for sir?"
Nat and bucky were staring at me. "Ummm hello mam, a crib in pastel colours" i scratched my nape at nervousness. "We have a few here"
She displayed few in her iPad and we agreed to a pastel blue colour crib with the rocking chair and other required furnitures. "Ma'am you were so helpful, Thank you so much" i shook her hand before leaving.
"We would have struggled without her" bucky mumbled on our way "what next" i asked looking at the list i prepared in the notepad.
"Stuffies, blankets and clothes" i was so excited for this. That's when i received a call from Tony. "Hi Tony" i smiled.
"Steve where are you? Are you done, or I'll tag along"
"That's great Tony. We are in the xxx mall food court" i said with excitement.
"Tony is coming?" "Then we are not needed here" "i need to meet an important person"
"See you later steve" Nat and bucky ghosted me
Tony came here in few minutes and we both shopped for Peter's clothes. I saw a cute mob onesie and awwed at the design.
"We are not buying these" Tony removed his glasses and took a look. "They are cute" i said. He shook his head "these pilis will make him look like a beast we fought 2 months back steve"
I chuckled and left the idea of buying the onesie. We bought too much things for him and the shops accepted to deliver them to our tower.
While we came out of the mall, paparazzi surrounded us again asking every irrelevant questions they have.
Tony lost his cool when a reporter asked "why are you gay?" Like, seriously? People should know to keep their noses out of others business. There were never a question "why are you straight" so why this?
Our things reached the tower before us.
Tony left a heavy breathe. The whole day went in painting and arranging the baby's room. Thor, bruce, bucky and me were fixing the furnitures meantime Tony and Nat were planning.
"Let the crib not be close to the window steve" Tony was rethinking his room plan. "Relax tones, the tower is secured enough" clint was cuddling with a blanket.
"Yahh" Tony was clearly so nervous. I went and backhugged him resting my chin on his shoulder. He rubbed my wrapped arms over his waist. "He will be here tomorrow" i nodded.
"Do you think i can handle this? Will i mess it up?" he made his mouth a thin line. I shook my head "you are already a best father Tony"
