Out of The Cage (maximum ride fan fiction)

chapter one : freedom

I was sitting in my cramped cage with my aqua blue tail wrapped around my legs and my aqua blue wings around my arms when I heard people coming in. Its probally just the white coats coming to get a subject for one of there tests. then I relised that it can't be a white coat they don't get more than one subject at a time. A kid with blond hair came to my cage and said " come on you are the last one in this area of the insitute. "

" who are you? " I questioned

" your rescue. now come on we need to go. "

" not intill you tell me who you are. "

" gazzy! now come on. "

" okay. I'll come. "

Gazzy opened my cage then I ran through the institute with the big crowd. I ran through the gross sewers to the man hole. Everyone took the manehole or went to the subway. I went to the subway as I got out there was a little girl standing in the front of everyone and she was telling everyone something I barely heard anything, but what I heard was "everyone we hope you find somewhere safe and we meet again at somepoint in time and if we meet again I'm Angel. " Angel said cheerfully.

Angel ran through the crowd back to the sewers. All of a sudden someone pulled me through the crowd to a little group of people. There was 2 guys and three girls counting the girl holding my arm. One of the guys had red skin and a long tail like me exept I am blue. he had scaly wings sorta like a vampire. the other guy was tall and he looked strong and normal exept for his tan horns that were about 1 in. He was blond and his hair covered half of his horns. One of the girls had pink hair and she pretty looked normal, she probally could shapeshift or has somekind of power. The other girl had black hair and she had dragon claws on her hands. Then the girl holding my arm had pink wings, she was really hot she was like a angel that fell from heaven then she said " Hi I'm destiny, the guy thats red is Alex, the guy that has horns is Eli, the girl that lookes normal is Emily but we call her Emma and she is an eraser, then clawed girl is carly. I brought you over here because I want you to join us in a group that is going to hang out and live together like family. also whats your name and will you join us? "

" okay I'll join and my name is danny. " I replied

" yay, ooh do you have any special abilities? "

" yes, I can breath under water, and I can levitate but I'm not good at it. "

" cool. okay now lets get going. "

I thought that it would be fun but I was wrong.

6 Months ago......

Everyone was practicing there fighting techniques. Alex through a jabb to my hip. I jumped to the left then uppercutted Alex's jaw. Alex jumped to his feet then Eli and Alex through kicks at me. I caught Eli's kick then blocked Alex's kick. I moved my other hand to Eli's foot and throw Eli on Alex. Carly slashed at my xchest. I grabbed her arm, picked her up, then throw her on the guys. they all make a big " oof ". Emma lunged at me with a round house. I ducked then uppercut right in the middle of her chest. she fell to the ground coughing and rolling in pain. Destiny lunged at me with a fist. I caught her fist then she tried to trip me, but I blocked it with a quick turn around. I grabbet right by her armpit then threw her at the others. " I win " I said proudly

" can you go easier next time. " Carly said getting up holding her back

" ya, your good but we don't need that much training. " said Emma rubbing her neck.

" ya we do, Chris is better then us and he was the one with the least amount of fighting expeirence and he is better then us now. " Alex said

" well lets stop the chitchat and start back with training. " I said.

" okay. " They all said at the same time.

Then they ran I stood there waiting for an attack. I heard a twig snap about 15 feet away behind a tree. Eli lunged at me with a quick jabb. I grabb his fist at a weird angle. grabbed his elbow and picked him up. I turned around and through him at carly. Destiny dropped down right above me. I grabbed her feet and through her foward at a tree. she turned and put her feet on the tree then jumped at me with a roundhouse kick. Emma lunged at me from the other side in eraser form she swiped at me. I jump and stomp on Emma's hand and grab Destiny's foot. I grab Destiney calf and pull her over me and slamed her ontop of Emma. Alex was nowhere strangly. out of nowhere Alex jumped at me from the top of the trees. Eli and the others got up and surronded me with Alex. Eli jabbed straight at me. I grabbed his arm and kicked his gut and he fell holding his stomach. Emma and Alex lunged at me from opposite sides. I kicked Alex in the face then picked him up by his shoulders and throw him at Emma. Carly lunged at my stomach and put her claws straight through me right after I throw Alex . " gottcha " Carly said.

" Or did you. " I said pulling her hand out of me. " I guess its time to get serious. "

I upprcut her in the gut. whip my tail at Destiny lunging at me from behind. I kick Carly in the gut hard and she went out cold. " aah jeez that hurt. " I said holding the back of my neck. " lets be done with training for now. "

" why did she try to kill you like that? " Emma said walking back to camp.

" I don't know. " I said while picking up Carly.

We were quit the rest of the way to the camp. When we get to camp I go to Carly's tent (that we stole from cabelas) and set her on her sleeping bag. I leave the tent and sit in my camping chair. The others came and sat down in their chairs. I take off my shirt to wrap my wound. I sware Destiney and Emma were droolling over my abbs. I finishef wrapping my wound so I put my shirt back on. " what did you mean when you said " I guess its time to get serious. " ? I thought you were seriously fighting. I was anyway. " Emma said

" I dont actually go hard on you if I did you all would be out cold. " I said

" are you serious? "

" yes, I'm serious. "

3 Months ago......

We were camp sitting having great conversation. " okay, so what is your faverite power of yours Chris. " Carly said ( we already worked out the jabb through the stomach. )

" My faverite power is probally my power that is just devolping. and that power is to take the moisture out of the air. " I said.

" what!? you are devoloping a new power thats awesome! " Carly said.

All of a sudden a group of erasers jumped from the bushes. " ooh. look at this we got din... " I ran up and uppercuted his gut before he finished.

I kicked one in the chest then he fell. 2 down, 6 left. I jump up and kick two of them in the face. I landed and uppercutted one of the ones I kicked in the face. I turn around and kick one in the groin then the face. I turn to the last one and grab his face and push him into a tree. I punch him in the gut then he went out cold. everyone just got over there when I finished. " you didn't leave any for us. " Alex said.

" Sorry, but you should have got here quicker, if you wanted to fight. " I said.

I went to camp to get some rope to tie up the erasers. I got the rope in a survival kit by Emma's tent. I went back to the erasers and picked up two at a time and put them on the tree trunk. Once they were all there I got the rope and looped it around them 8 times then tied a bow. That was the first encounter with erasers since we were at the insitute.
