Deal? Prt 1

Ok so I'm writing this story because I'm not going to sit and do nothing. Also I will be slow but it is just because I have a lot on my plate right now so please don't be mad if I don't respond to something. I have a lot going on right now and my hands are really full. Enjoy the story

Five and Miko deposited their xp.
"Still last- as usual," Mitch said smirking
"Well we wouldn't be last if SOMEONE hadn't stolen our glitch!" Miko growled
"Pfft even if you had gotten that glitch you would still be last." He glared back at her.
"Is that a challenge?" She smirked
"What if it is?" Mitch puffed out his chest making himself look intimidating.
"Well then I'm gonna win- I always win challenges," she smiled
"Maybe against other people. But not me," they looked at each other
"Should we do something or.." five had stepped back to join Haneesh and Zahra
"Nah," Zahra said "Mitch gets into arguments like this all the time. He'll get bored and end it quick,"
"We're gonna go and grab something to eat. Wanna come?" Haneesh asked
"Uh sure," five replied walking away with them.
"So it's a deal then?" Miko asked holding out her hand
"The one to get the most xp before the day ends gets to brag all they want and the other can't say anything," he shook her hand
They turned to look at the others but they were gone.

Miko ran into the base dragging five behind her.
"Miko! Slow down!" Five yelled
"Can't! Lose!" She slammed her fist into the machine
"Five!" She practically screeched
"Oh- right!" He did the same
300,000 was deposited between both of them.
Miko grabbed fives arm and started to drag him out again
"Miko- wait!" He pulled his hand back making Miko struggle
"Come on Five we need to get-" she was stopped by him putting his hand on her shoulder
"Miko why do you all of the sudden want to capture every glitch on the map," he looked at her with concerned eyes
She sighed "I made a deal with Mitch that whoever got the most xp would get bragging rights," she mumbled
"500,000 xp deposited," they turned to see Mitch looking at them smiling
"Oh look- I'm winning," he slicked back his hair walking past them smiling.
"Ugh thanks, now I'm behind again come on let's go!" She grabbed his arm again and headed out the portal.

Five sucked the glitch into his gaunlent.
"Good job," Miko said panting
"Miko are you sure you don't wanna take a break?" He looked at her concerned
"No! I cant lose!" She was struggling back to the van.
"Miko wait. You need to take a break!" He followed her.
She got into the van and sat down. A determined look on her face. Five sighed and got in too. They started to drive to the next location

They returned to the base and deposited their xp . Mitch came behind them
"Well seeing as the day is almost over. Let's see who won." He plugged his hand in and the cup showed on the screen.
They waited patiently as the screen added up there xp.
Mitch won
"Yes!" He clenched his fist "looks like you came in second!" He laughed as he walked off.
Miko stood there looking shocked
"Miko?" Five asked coming up beside her "you ok?-"he was shoved aside as Miko stormed out
"Miko-! Wait!" He hurried after her

Five found Miko sitting on a bench in the park.
"Miko-" he came up to her
"It's not fair," he said wiping her eyes
"I should have won! He just takes out bosses and doesn't put in that much effort! We do twice the work and twice the effort!" She yelled out loud.
"Mitch is way more experienced, he probably does put in effort just in another way-" he tried to calm her down
"Why are you taking his side?!" She screamed which made him jump back
"I thought we were friends!" She ran off.
He sat down on the bench. He sighed she just needs some time alone. He was contacted by bit a few minutes later.
"Hello Hi_five! We have reports of a glitch in your area!" Bitt said
"Uh, sure. I'll handle it," he said as he hung up.
He put his gear on and tapped his mask moving his head to search for signals of the glitch. The scanner showed nothing. He put his hands back down.
"Huh well-" he felt something tight wrap around his waist forcing his hands beside him.
He was lifted up by a giant snake. It hissed at him.
"Oh nerds-"
The snakes eyes glowed.

Miko stopped at a wall and wiped her eyes.
Why would five takes sides with Mitch?! I thought we were friends! She stood up taller. She was about to walk back to go confront him when she got a call on her gauntlet
"Oh, it's you. Come to rub your victory in my face?!" She asked giving Mitch a glare
"Miko, as much as I would love to do that. You need to come see this." He looked at her
"Oh, is it a big trophy you made for your self?
Lucky you,"
"Miko wait-" he was cut off as she hung up
