When Oswald and White Fang saw Mickey coming back home, they thought that he had passed but notice how upset he is. Minnie told them that Mickey had failed the test of honor.

Mickey: (Taking his horse to the stable) (Looking at his reflection) (Starts singing) Look at me. I will never pass for a perfect groom. Or a perfect hero. Can it be I'm not meant to play this part. (Throws away the spoon.) Now I see. That if I were truly to be myself. I would break my family's heart. (Took a walk at the garden) Who is that boy I see. Staring straight, back at me. Why is my reflection someone I don't know. Somehow I cannot hide. Who I am. Though I've tried. (Went inside) (Put on his hero clothes) When will my reflection show who I am inside! (Looks at the mirror) When will my reflection show who I am inside.

Mickey went to to sit on a flower tree to get some fresh air. When Scrooge came to cheer Mickey up, Mickey was afraid to talk with him. So Scrooge gave him an advice by showing him the flowers.

Scrooge: My, my, what beautiful blossoms we have this year. (Notice one that hasn't bloom yet) But look, this one is a bit late. And I bet, when it bloom, it will become more beautiful than the others. Your time of finding a way to honor your family will come someday, Mickey. Just don't stop believing it. OK.
Mickey: (Smile) OK.

Mickey felt a little bit better when he hearse that he will be able to honor his family, until he heard a messenger from the emperor of China riding on a horse.

The Messenger: Everyone, I have some news from the Emperor. Our enemies, the Black Bears, are attacking. (Everyone was afraid) The emperor will need some of the men's in the village, to join the army!

Some of the men's in the village decided to join the army, to protect their homes. Mickey was hopping that his brothers wouldn't participate in going into battle, but Oswald and White Fang decided to go, which made Mickey very upset. When they were at the dinner table, Mickey told Oswald and White Fang, they shouldn't be interested in going into battle.

Mickey: Brothers, you shouldn't have agree to go! There are other men's to fight our homes!
White Fang: (Mad) Little Brother, it is our duty to serve our king, and to honor our family! And you should start acting like a mature adult now!
Oswald: (Mad) White Fang is right! We must serve our king and the Emperor, even if it means losing life!
White Fang: (Mad) We have found a way to honor our family, now it's time for you to find a way to honor your's!

Mickey got really upset that he ran outside. When Mickey was looking at the stars, he was wondering how his parents felt if they were here. Mickey knew that the only way to save his brothers life is for him to go into battle as well. So, he wrote a letter to let his friends and fiance to let them know were he is going, put on the musketeer clothes that his father used to were, when he use to serve King Richard III, and road on a horse and went to the forest. When Minnie woke up at midnight, she saw the note that Mickey left and told it to Oswald and White Fang.

Minnie: Oswald! White Fang! Wake up
Oswald: (Waking up) Minnie, what's up?
Minnie: Mickey is gone!
White Fang: What! Oh, no.

Oswald and White Fang, went outside and notice that the door to the entrance of their home is open. So, they decided to go and find Mickey, to make sure he's OK, and so did Minnie. Donald and Goofy wanted to come along, but Oswald told them to stay. So, they stayed and wave goodbye to Oswald, White Fang, and Minnie.
