Turning my laptop off after getting my ticket, I checked my phone to see 26 missed calls and 12 texts from Ash and Louie asking if I was alright. Have to ring them back, I won't hear the end of it if I don't. Plus, I have to tell them I won't be in for a week.
Unlocking my phone, I scrolled through my contacts to find Louie's number.
L;- Louie
M- me
L- "(Y/N)? What the hell you playing at? Where are you? We're all worried sick."
M- "Loulou calm down, I'm fine. I'm at home, something happened today and I need to be alone. I also have something to tell you, I know it's short notice but I'm going away for a week. I just need to clear my head and see my mum and brothers for a while."
I sighed down the phone as I bit my lip waiting for his response.
L- "You know I bloody hate it when you call me that. We can talk about it when you come back, you ain't getting away from it that easy. Just as long as you'll be alright?"
M- "I know, that's why I call you it haha. Thought I'd get out of it but I should've known full well I wouldn't, I'll be fine. It's only for a week and I'll be back. Gotta go, need to pack. I'll text you an Ash before I go, I leave tomorrow."
L- "Little shit. Exactly, you know what I'm like for my gossip. Have fun, make sure you bring me something back and say hello to everyone for me. Bye bub."
M- "Haa you love me. Your like a little old woman, don't I always? Bye Loulou."
We both said out final goodbyes as I pressed the button to end the call.
Placing my phone in my pocket, I wandered upstairs and grabbed my suitcase from under my bed as I started to pack for LA just as my phone buzzed.
I grabbed my phone from my pocket and looked at the message.
"Oritse;- Heard you were going to LA? What's happened? Xx"
I smiled how sweet it was before texting back.
"Me;- You heard right. I'll explain everything tonight but you gotta promise not to say anything? The only people that know is Louie, Ash, my mum and obviously Aston as he's involved and the reason I came home earlier. Don't say a word. Xx"
I sighed after sending the message placing my phone on my bed only for it to buzz again a few minutes later.
"Oritse;- I promise I won't. See you soon. Xx"
Not bothering to reply, I locked my phone before placing it on charge to finish off my packing as I placed my last item in my suitcase and zipped it up putting it beside my door as I sighed.
