The final monster died. Loox Eyewalker. Please allocate the soul file. Temporary or Permanent. I moved my hand, and tapped the permanent Soul File by instict. I felt my Monster Multiplier increase by 0.1. The Ruins were left behind me. I walked outside, and into a path covered in snow, though the tempurature did not change. I knelt, and felt the snow. It was artificial. I kept walking, and passed through bars across a bridge set two wide to stop anyone, even the Chief, who was as wide as a bull elephant, and was never on duty. There was a small sentry station, and a lamp shaped like Frisk, sending a pang through my heart. I continued. A monster appeared to me about halfway across the next room. I learned that it was a Snowdrake, and enjoyed jokes. Vines burst from the earth at a thought, and my rose spear stole his soul. What a chilling end to his life. I continued in this way. 16 monsters died before I reached the city. In the city, there were 24 monsters around, in a shop, outside by a christmas tree, the librarby...(wait, waht?) and in the local bar. 24 monsters in total. They seemed to have more power than the ones in the Ruins at any rate. They were dispatched easily... almost. There was one that was rather difficult, seeing as he wasn't always a physical entity. Grillby. He enjoyed giving away free ketchup to a certain skeleton... whom I was planning to kill.
"Why are you doing this?" The flaming man asked as I absorbed the last of his customers, dust swirling around the vents, pumping into the air.
"You must have realized by now that you can't kill me," I said, tears running down my face, my face turned down, tears falling off my face, and evapotating in the heat. These were innocent people I was killing in service of returning my love to me, "I don't want to kill your people, but I have to. Without the one that was taken from me by the one you call Sans, I will die," I met his eyes, "AND MY POWER IS TO GREAT TO LOSE!!"
SOUL TYPE LEFT: YELLOW
Bolts of yellow light fired from the palm of my hand, hissing through Grillby. He laughed.
"You cannot kill that which is always changing," The bartender called, beams of fire bursting from his hands-
SOUL TYPE LEFT RIGHT: GREEN
Green shields burst from my hands, deflecting the orange-red bursts of fire. Then I saw a pale of water. I had a plan.
SOUL TYPE RIGHT: CYAN
Light blue beams of light curled around the pail, and splashed the water onto Grillby. He cried out, trying to rekindle his heat, small patches of brown flesh showed under his flame.
TRUE SOUL TYPE
My spear flung itself into Grillby's flesh, bursting out his back glowing SOUL on it's end, and was yanked from his body.
"Damn......Sorry.............Sanssssss." He turned to dust. PLEASE ALLOCATE SOUL FILE, TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT. I hit Permanent, and cried out. His SOUL. It was a power I had only ever felt to this extreme in one person. I was filled with DETERMINATION.
