Chapter 24

Lili's Pov

"This, exactly this, Cole", I start, tears streaming down my face,"it hurts."

"What", I hear his voice breaking and see tears streaming down his cheeks, "but, but I-I t-thought everything between us was good. Why didn't you t-tell me t-that I-I h-h-hurt you?",he's now sobbing.

I cup his face, wiping his tears away,"No Cole, not like that. You didn't hurt me", I smile, my eyes still watery.

He sighs in relief, but then looks at me confused."Wait, but if I didn't hurt you, then what do you mean?"

"My love for you. I love you so much and there's nothing I can do to show you how much, because there's no word or action that could ever explain what I feel when I'm around you and it hurts that I can't do anything about it", I tell him with a smile and start crying again while still cupping his face with my hands.

The next thing I feel is his hands on my face and his lips on mine. It's a loving and passionate kiss what gives me the chance to express at least a small part of my feelings.

After we pull away, both of us smiling, Cole puts me back on the ground."Your main present is still on the bed you know."

My eyes widen. There's another present?

I turn around and indeed, there is an envelope on the bed. But what could it possibly be?

Confused, but also interested I go to the bed and take the envelope, opening it. In there is a key and a certificate, but I have no idea what for.

"What is this?", I ask Cole with a questioning look as I turn back around to face him.

He chuckles,"Come here, Nugget", he says, opening his arms as if he is waiting for me to get into them.

I go to him, he puts his arms around my waist, turns me around and rests his head on my shoulder, the envelope still in my hands.

"Open it and read it", he demands, so I do that.

When I see what it is, my eyes widen and my breathing stops for a brief moment.

"Read it out loud baby!"

I take a deep breath,"Certificate for Island on the Seychelles", I read the heading. "Praslin, one of the three main islands on the Seychelles, what is known for it's palm lined beaches has undergone a name change and is now called 'Lils', owned by Lili Pauline Reinhart", I read, still shocked from what I just read.

(A/N I know that's not how it works, but y'all just gotta roll with it)

Cole turns me back around and takes the certificate and the key. "This", he say and points on the certificate,"is a certificate for your very own island", he exclaims. "And this", he points on the key,"Is a key to every building on this island and you're the only person that has it", he states.

"Baby when we were at the airport on New Year's Eve and I said that the money you spent would be enough to be an island, I didn't mean that literally", I chuckle at him.
(A/N I actually meant "buy an island", but autocorrect did great work, so..)

"Oh come on, I know you like it and we can always come here for free now", he defends himself.

I nod laughing."I love it, but still, you're an idiot", I reply with a smirk.

"I'm your idiot", he grins, making me roll my eyes at him.

He shakes his head, faking indignation,"Did you just roll your eyes at me, young lady?"

"So what if I did?", I tease,"What are you gonna do? Punish me?"

"I think I just might", he comes closer, biting his lip, before smashing his lips against mine.
