The thunder calms as the rain softens to a pitter-patter. My breathing slows down and I start to feel drowsy.

"See? Everything is fine." was the last thing I heard before falling into a deep sleep.

I stand up and for some reason my body is aching quite a lot despite the absence of cuts and bruises on my body. I pull my coat tighter to my body and keeping a hold on my hat in case it flies away again.

I continue to walk forward. I still don't have a sense of where I am.

Feels as if a few hours have passed.

Until finally I find something bright amidst the fog and dark. I move faster, no longer patient. Where ever those people were going it must be here, right? It's the only building that is emitting light from within. Closer I realized that it was a hotel. A hotel guarded by body guards that are accepting these cards from people. Ids?

How am I suppose to go in now? I can't enter unless I have a room to stay in, and an ID to prove that, is that how hotels work?

My body is getting colder, the rain is getting harder. And I knew that I need to find shelter fast. I go to the side of the building hoping to see another entrance that isn't as exposed as the other one, only to end up finding a spiral stair case made out of cement guarded by cement walls. I try to see what it leads to but I can't see far up.

All of a sudden a feeling of fear struck me hard. I don't know why I'm getting so nervous, hands shaking. I enter the stair case and prayed for protection.

The walls have spaces built onto them allowing some light to flow in. And I wish I never knew what was in there.

All around are piles of bodies scattered all over the steps of the stairs. The smell was horrible, as if someone pissed on rotten food. The people were bald and wore clothes that were torn. The rain enters through the spaces of the walls and clash against the bodies, triggering a horid smell. As the clouds part in the sky, moonlight glistens over the bodies revealing something far worse than what I thought I saw, wishing I could eradicate this from my memory.

Worms were digging through their decaying skin, their mouths open revealing flies going in and out. Some of the bodies had no eyes and others were missing limbs.

I puked whatever contents I had in my stomach. My feet were glued to the ground as I heaved, my eyes tearing up, my hands shaking and my body numb. My head was spinning from all that vomiting.

I walked away, and went back to the entrance. I sat down on the sidewalk which was directly in front of the entrance. I didn't know what to do anymore. My body slumped, exhausted by the horrible experience so far. There's no time. And this time, no direction. I'm giving up.

I give out a sigh, accepting defeat. Defeat from what? I don't know though, it just feels like I didn't accomplish my goal. My eyes were drooping and I was about to sleep.

Until my ears perked up and my tired eyes beheld, a shiny navy blue car, it's condition unaffected by the weather. I looked up as the car stopped in front of me. As much as it hurts, I stood up not wanting to be a hindrance. I step aside as the car doors open in a swift movement. All of a sudden guards and other hotel staffs started surrounding the unknown people coming out of the car. The guards were trying to push bystanders away from them as the hotel staff opened umbrellas for them to stay under as they walk to the entrance. I was dumb-founded. Who were these people to cause such a reaction?

As I try to look over the guards and bystanders I caught a glimpse of a woman's face.

Her skin white as snow, her lips as red as a rose, and her hair black as ebony. Her frame stood tall that it was difficult for the staff to put an umbrella above her head. She wore a fur coat and red high heels. She was walking with such grace, such poise, and her beauty was show-stopping. Then there was a man beside this woman. A man that stood taller than her. He has a very masculine built and is covered by a black suit. His fedora shadowing his face, only revealing his mouth which holds a cigar.
