She stared at Jason for a while, confused, and unknowing. Who was this man? why was she telling her she was moving?

"What?" She asked.

"You're moving right?" He replied.

"Uh..." She then blurted out "MOM!"

Lidia came running into the living room. "What is it honey?" She then saw Jason at he door, "Oh."

Sally looked at her mother "are we moving?"

"Yes honey, we are. This was supposed to be a birthday surprise, but SOME ONE (looking at Jason) ruined it!"

"Um, sorry?" He said

"Oh well, JOSEPH!" Lidia screamed down the small hallway.

Joseph ran into the crowded, excuse for a living room. "What is it!?!" He then saw Jason. "Oh. Lidia I assume you already explained this to Sally."

"Yes," they said simultaneously.

"Sally, this is Jason Derrick. I met Jason when I was in law school like 25 years ago, before your father and I knew each other." Lidia began. " He then dropped out, and i guess he owns a moving company, right Jason?"

"Yeah, I do." He said looking at Lidia."

"Since i had my recent amount of wins in court, we now have enough money to buy a house." Lidia continued: "It was actually Jason's idea to het the house we got."

"What house." Sally asked.

"We decided to buy 24 Rakestreet. We know you love that house." Lidia said.

It was true. Sally did love 24 Rakestreet. She had always stared at it as they drove past. It was a tall white house, with a darkish blue trim and a a blue shingle roof. The entire house was built to withstand a small hurricane, and be much less destroyed than any other house in a full one. The windows were made up of 8 inch safety glass, all the walls were all layered with a thick strong material, and then lined with whatever looked best.

Sally's previous house had been destroyed by a hurricane, and now she lived in the crappy apartment. She will not any longer.
