Way too many beers, that very much what Belle had, a night before Belle's birthday. Even though it wasn't eventful; they knew that it was fun, going to a small bar, then eventually just hung out in Donny's condo.

They had gotten close ever since the production of He's Into Her so, Belle decided to have Donny over to spend the night, even though it wasn't her birthday yet. She reasoned:

"I wanna have a c-calm night before facing the press, don."

He agreed, "Yeah, seems reasonable; mahirap rin kasi mabombard lalo na kapag special day mo. Thanks for the beer belbel!"

He tried to stand up. Belle grabbed his ankle.

"Don! don'--t go yet! hehehehe, c'mon. I still wan- na celebr--ate."

"Where do you even wanna go?"

"Aroooooound M-anila don; I wan-n-na drive around Manilaaaaa... You-- can drive right?" Belle said, slurring her speech.

"Yeah of course I can bel, but, you're not even close to sober; so no. Let's just continue watching netflix." Donny said in a 'dad' tone.

"Bu......tttt doooooooooo- nnnnn!! the nig-ht? it'z stiiiiiiilll zo yOUUUNGGGG"

"I can't resist you, can I." He whispers under his breath.

"w- w- what did you say? do- n?" She stammers as she wants to know what he said.

"nothing, bel, i was saying that maybe you could maybe come down the drunkness first?"

Belle silently nods as she continues to watch her favorite shows on netflix.

It was a few hours after, and they both barely said a word since Belle was set on watching her netflix shows. But Donny finally broke the air of silence and spoke.

"Belle, are you good now? We can go if you're already fine."

Belle snapped out of her trance and proceeded to look at Donny and say in a clear voice:

"Yeah, don... I'm really all good. I was reaaallly intoxicated; but i'm all good now!" Belle says in a cheery voice.

"So, where do you want me to take you to, bel?" Donny says; acting like a prince.

"Anywhere around Manila, don. Anywhere you'd like."

"Uhh... Sure I guess, but if you wanna go somewhere else, or even out of Manila... Tell me ok?"

He stares at her for a moment. He gets lost in her.

"Don." she waves at his face, confused. "huy, nandiyan ka pa ba? Dooooonnn!"

He snaps out of his trance of awe for Belle's mesmorizing face.

"sorry, Bel, may iniisip lang kasi ako. Hahahahaha."

"Ok lang, Don. Ano, let's go?"

Donny grabs a jacket, his keys and everything else he needs to bring along the car ride with her. Belle remains standing near the door, slipping her jacket on and asking him if she could leave her things for the meanwhile until they come back. He nods and they silently head to the car.

"Do you have anywhere in mind to go to around here?"

"Uhm, not a lot of ideas where I wanna go to but we'll figure it out along the way. I am thinking about going to a 7-11 though."

She leans on his shoulder as she ends her sentence, causing him to feel awkward; but eventually, he gets used to it later.

"7-11? d-d-oo you wanna go now or later? And the pictures they're gonna take..."

"Later. Plus, it's ok; my family let me do this anyway."

He drives her around Manila, takes her to parks; and grasslands and especially Intramuros. From the moment she said Manila to him, He immediately thought about Intramuros and how beautiful it is at night, so, he took her there. They had a great time.

The drive wasn't silent like the past few hours; they talked about different things in and out of the car. Showbiz, growing up, mental health, the success of He's Into Her, and just life in general. They were already close as it is and they got closer each minute that passed by. They enjoyed each others company more than ever.

But at the same time; Donny's love for Belle flourished more as the talk got more deep and meaningful. He was trying to restrain it as much as he could. But even though he was having fun with her, the night had to end.

They went to 7-11, which was what she asked for, and Belle was even pleasantly surprized that he remembered her wish; thankfully, no one that was around recognized them or maybe didn't even bother to; but those were the least of his worries.

Donny tried to let go of the sadness that was consuming him and just spent the time he had left with Belle. Eventually, they got back to the condo and Belle was getting ready to say goodbye. But he couldn't let her go.

"Don! Thank you for being such a good friend and taking care of me and being with me. I really appreciate it."

"Do-n't wor-r-y about it, b-bel, you gave me s- uch a gg- ood time, too."

Belle was silently picking up her things, but Donny couldn't just let her go after all that happened. He approached her. It all happened so fast. Belle was shocked, but gave in to his touch a few moments later. The passion was burning through both of them. They were young and making love.

They spent the remainder of the night tangled up in each others arms, half asleep and talking once in a while, in a fashion that was of an old-married-couple-like. But Belle eventually had to leave.

"Hey, Don; what time is it?"

"Like almost 3 am." He said in a sleepy manner.

"Oh shit, looks like I gotta leave."

Donny was, all of the sudden, jolted awake. "Bel... Can't you stay longer? Please?"

"Donny, I can't. It's my big day tomorrow. You know that."

"I know, i know. Ayaw lang talaga kita umalis e."

"I hate to admit it, pero ako rin, Don." She says while slipping on her underwear.

"I'll still see you tomorrow, baby." He says in a semi-husky, semi-asleep tone. teasing her.

"Don! But are you ok with keeping, 'us' a secret?"

"More than ok Bel. Whatever you like, even."

She then kissed him, one more time, and then she was halted by Donny insisting to drive. She agreed though. Belle still had no car and public transport was too risky.

They said their final goodbyes and slept in their own houses for tomorrow.

One night, but plenty more to come.
