Chapter 2 - A new life

[Jihyo's POV]

"Alright, i'm making the call now" - I say as i type JYP's number on my phone, it doesn't take too long for him to answer.

"Jihyo?" - He says, in his usual tone

"Yes! Hello producer-nim, how are you?" - I answer

"A little busy with work but i'm on a break now, how are you? Do you need something?"

"I'm fine too, i'm sure you heard about the incident earlier today right?" - I speak with a lower tone

"Yes, i was going to address to this after this break, it's good that you called me, i want you girls to stay at home, i'll be there in an hour or so"

"Yeah, we'll be here, don't worry about us. We have something in mind about that so we'll be waiting for you here." - I say, the other girls still staring at me.

"Alright, see you soon" - He says as he hangs up

"So, why didn't you say anything about that guy?" - Tzuyu says as i lower my phone

"JYP's coming over to talk to us about the incident, i figured that it would be best if we talked to him about it in person" - I say, the other girls agreeing with their heads

[Mina's POV]

*ding dong*

The bell rings as Jeongyeon goes towards the door. She opens it and JYP-nim enters the room.

"Hello girls, are you okay?" - He says, i can see worry in his eyes

"Hello producer-nim" - We answer almost in unison

"We're good, nobody's hurt" - Jihyo says, leading him to a chair

"So, i want to know what happened, i heard from the security staff but i want to hear from you girls what exactly happened" - He says as he sits, looking straight to us

As we sit around the table, Chaeyoung starts

"We were going to our car after leaving the airport. There were fans of course but it was pretty normal, some shouted our names and we got some gifts and letters from them, same as always, but then we heard a commotion behind us, i didn't see it very well, Tzuyu just told me to run and i simply did"

"I guess Mina and Momo were the ones behind, they have more details" - Sana says, i can see a little smirk in her face, she wants us to talk about that guy already

"Y-yeah, that commotion happened because there was a guy running after us. He punched one of our bodyguards and almost grabbed me" - I say, as i remember the incident i can feel my eyes getting teary, Chaeyoung hugs me when i almost start crying

"But then another guy showed up behind this dude and beat the hell out of him, it was so cool!" - Momo says

JYP is paying close attention to our story, he looks really concerned

"That was something that really shouldn't happen. I pay those guys to protect you, that's a failure that can't be repeated." - I can see some anger in his eyes

"That's what i wanted to talk to you about when i called you, Producer" - Jihyo raises her hand

"This guy that saved Mina, we want you to talk to him and see if he wants to work as our bodyguard"

"Well, i was going to say something like that. We clearly need a makeover in your security, something like that was an amateur's mistake. But why this guy? Just because he saved you?" - He says
