3RD P.O.V
It's been a few days since (Y/N) visited his family, and currently, Jessie and James were busy hounding him about his parents.
Jessie & James: "YOUR FATHER IS COSMO?! AND YOUR MOTHER IS NADIME?!" The duo were more than shocked, as Cosmo was one of Team Rocket's most accomplished members!
(Y/N): "Yes, they are my parents! Honestly, you don't need to overreact and make such a big deal like how you are!" He was laying on the couch, holding his head. He always hated how he was badgered over his lineage...
Jessie: "OVERREACT?! YOU HAVE SOME OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PARENTS IN THE REGION, USE THAT TO YOUR ADVANTAGE!" She was currently shaking him by the shoulders, not giving him a moment of reprieve!
(Y/N): "UwAhAh! StOp sHaKiNg MeEEeeEE!" Jessie let him go, (Y/N) was dizzy, his eyes practically spirals! He shook the dizziness off, before sitting up. "Besides, if I use my parents as an excuse to get exclusive stuff, everyone will be expecting so much more from me, and I don't want my next mission to catch something like a Raikou, because I am not my father, or my mother, and you should both respect that INSTEAD OF TRYING TO USE ME TO GET WHAT YOU WANT BECAUSE OF MY STATUS AND THEN LEAVING ME WHEN I D--!" (Y/N) was standing up, practically fuming as he pointed at them, intimidating the three of them! His voice had raised dramatically.
James: "G-Got it, we'll keep it on the down-low..."
Jessie: 'W-What? Leave him? What has this kid been through?'
(Y/N) P.O.V
I looked up at them, noticing just how shocked they were. I regained my composure, scratching the back of his neck.
(Y/N): "I...I'm sorry, I haven't exploded on anyone like that in a while...I'm gonna go clear my head...sorry for taking my anger out on you like that..." I felt my breath get shaky as I put on a change of clothes in the bathroom and walked out in a rush, trying not too make the situation any worse.
Jessie P.O.V
Jessie: "What...just happened..?"
I was...shocked! This timid young boy that wouldn't even tell his Mawile not to eat his food, had just gotten madder than I've seen from almost anyone, maybe even worse than a Gyrados! I looked over to James, who looked just as surprised as I did.
James: "Well... I think I know what a lonely Wishiwashi feels like...What say you, Meowth?"
However, Meowth was nowhere to be found...
Jessie: "Uhh...Meowth?"
3RD P.O.V
(Y/N) was walking around route 123, kicking a discarded potion bottle as he walked, trying too get clear his head. However, he couldn't focus at all, his mind clouded with thoughts and memories from the past. Sighing, he looked out over the water, feeling uneasy about what he did to his friends. However, he heard a shrill...roar? He looked over too the direction he heard it from, walking over with speed. He found himself at the entrance of a cave, a figure standing in front of a strangely colored Rhyhorn!
???: "BE QUIET! I'm not adding some wimpy little Rhyhorn too my team if it's gonna whine like a Bonsly!" The figure held it by it's horn, not letting it move as they held out a heavy ball. (Y/N), however, wasn't gonna let this slide!
(Y/N) P.O.V
(Y/N): "HEY! GET AWAY FROM THAT RHYHORN!" My mouth moved faster than my head as I looked at the figure. They stopped, before looking back down at the Rhyhorn.
???: "You move from this spot, and you're gonna get It!"
The figure stood back up, turning too him. The figure...was a woman! She had a black buzzcut, orange, flaming eyes, and wore a somewhat militaristic uniform. I looked up at her, gulping a little.
(Y/N): "L-leave that R-R-Rhyhorn al-lone!" I did everything I could too not pee myself from the fear I felt, standing my ground.
???: "Hmph, who do you think you are? Some sort of ranger? Get lost, before I make you, tiny!" She made a fist, raising it up too his face to emphasize what she meant! I backed away, taking a few breaths, before continuing.
(Y/N): "N-No! You're tormenting that poor Rhyhorn, and I'm not leaving until it's sure too be safe!" I began reaching behind me, trying too grab one of my Pokéballs. However, I grew pale, as I couldn't feel my bag.
???: "Stop me? HAH! I've got at least a foot on you, I'm twice as strong, and I don't think you've noticed, but Pokémon. But y'know what? Fine, you wanna act like a big man? Then Team Cavalry sends their regards!"
(Y/N) P.O.V
She grabbed me by my neck and lifted me up! I didn't even realize what was happening until the ground left my feet! I began gasping for air, trying too get free as she raised a fist.
???: "Don't take it too hard, it's just business!" Before she could attack, something dashed from a nearby bush and slashed at her arm, forcing her too drop me! I began coughing as I stood up, looking too who, or what saved me. It was Meowth, who blew on his claws as if they were smoking!
Meowth: "Kid, what's with youse gettin' into trouble everywhere you go?!"
I was practically ready too hug him, he just saved my life! I looked back up too my assailant, who looked livid!
???: "OW! YOU LITTLE...! Oh, I get it now, I recognize that little ankle biter anywhere! Y'all are Team Rocket's lap-furfrou! Hmph, fine, if it's a fight you want, it's a fight you're gonna get!"
She tapped a Pokéball at her waist, before chucking out what was inside!
???: "Give 'em a fight Roselia!"
Out from the Pokéball jumped a Roselia, who struck a boxing pose. Meowth couldn't seem to take it seriously.
Meowth: "Keheheh! A Roselia? For someone who talks so big, youse don't got the firepower to back it up!" He dashed forward to slash the Roselia!
???: "Roselia; use Poison jab!" The Roselia knocked Meowth's paw out of the way, before striking him in the dead-center in the stomach, knowing him back!
Meowth: "YEOWCH! It hits hard for a flowery fella!" He coughed, before jumping up, and landing a series of slashes to it before the woman could give it another command!
???: "You...Come on, Roselia, don't let that lap-furfrou get the better of you! Use Pin Missile!" The Roselia nodded, before hopping forward! Meowth tried to jump out of the way, but was too slow as it caught him, throwing him into a tree! It then aimed its roses at him, a flurry of thorns flying out from the center like a nail gun! Meowth yelped out and slunk down, barely being able to avoid getting skewered!
???: "Come on! Razor Leaf!"
(Y/N): "You got this Meowth!" The cat growled, before dashing forward, striking out at the Roselia! (Y/N) couldn't tell what he was doing, but he knew it was working out! However, after an unlucky miss, Meowth was knocked back by another Poison Jab, into (Y/N)'s leg!
(Y/N): "You're doing good out there big guy, don't let her beat you! She has some vicious punches, so watch out for her uppercuts! And use your range, your claws are longer than her petals!" He used a leaf to wipe any sweat of his face, giving him an...oddly shaped Oran berry! Meowth shook it off, looking up at him with an annoyed snarl
Meowth: "Knock it off youse! This ain't a boxing match!" He grunted as he dashed at the Roselia, ready for match two! However, this one wasn't going as well as before, as Meowth was getting knocked around from all angles!
???: "Good! Now finish this: Razor leaf!" The Roselia ran up to him, her arm glowing green as she clotheslined him, sending Meowth reeling into a tree!
The woman and her Roselia scoffed, before walking up to (Y/N)...
???: "Pathetic. You honestly thought you'd beat me? I've been honing my mind, body, and Pokémon for the past two decades to be a fighting machine. I'll deal with you and get that rare Rhyhorn for my team! Roselia. You know what to do."
The Pokémon walker up too (Y/N), who had tripped backing away. However, before she could finish the job, there was a crunching noise behind them. The Roselia turned around too see Meowth standing back up, brandishing his claws!
???: "What?! But how?!"
She punched a tree too her left, putting several cracks in it!
(Y/N): "I may not be the bravest, but my intelligence compensates for it..."
???: "What's that supposed too mean?!"
(Y/N): "I hid a revive in the Oran berry. All Meowth needed too do is clench his jaw, which was a reflex caused by your razor leaf, to bring him back too full health." He stood back up, dusting himself off as he nodded too Meowth.
Meowth: "pretty clever of youse, now it's time for some payback!" He ran forward, before unleashing a powerful flurry of fury swipes on the Roselia! Once he had finished, he looked down at her, striking a confident pose as the Roselia fell backwards!
???: "DANG IT! You cheating little brats! I should cave your head right now!" She raised a fist, preparing too attack him! However, Meowth intercepted her, scratching her over the face twice!
???: "AAAAAAAGH! YOU LITTLE--" She held her face, dropping (Y/N), yelling out in pain!
(Y/N) landed on his feet, looking over too Meowth!
(Y/N): "Alright! You're fighting blind, out manned, and out gunned! Leave before you get seriously hurt!"
The stranger yelled out out, before running over to her Roselia, cupping it in her free arm, looking back to the two with killer intent with her right eye.
???: "grrrrrrrRRRRAAAAAAAAAH! This isn't over! When I find you again, you won't even get a chance to worry about how you'll die!" And with that, she took off, leaving the two alone.
Meowth: "Hmph! Clever move youse pulled off putting that revive in the Oran Berry!"
(Y/N): "You already said that! Besides, you don't have too compliment me! Team Rocket is the smartest Organization in the world, after all!"
However, before they could continue their conversation, a small, shrill roar sounded from nearby once again...
