I saw my reflection in my mirror and practically see my grin grow with happiness.

My blonde hair shined in the sun coming in through my window, my bright green eyes widening in shock as I realized what today was, Luke's football game!

I finish putting on a light coat of make-up before straightening out my red shirt and put my phone in my Jeans, heading downstairs.

I stepped into the kitchen to see my family standing around me with not a care in the world as they smile and joked around with each other.

I guess you can say that we were pretty normal for a family, well... to me it was normal. My dad and mom are chefs for their own restaurant across town and were at the moment working on making breakfast.

"Put that pan down, I will not tolerate my creations being flipped in the air and landing on someone's head!" Mom yelled when dad started to lift the pan "not the air to fill a pancake.

"but I've been practicing!

"It won't be like last time! I promise!"

Before my mother could say another word, dad flipped a pancake high into the air.

We watched with anxious eyes as the pancake made it's way down back to earth, and landed in my dad's brown hair.

"I told you I won't tolerate this ridiculous behavior! You just ruined my masterpiece! What will meg eat now?

"Cereal?"

'That is poison to our brains with all their chemicals, I will not be feeding meg things that will turn her precious mind into mush!" Mom slapped dad's arm in fake anger as her eyes held amusement at dad's silliness.

"Yes, this is what normal for me is.

I have parents who are crazy about food and love each other with all their heart, something I hope is how it is between Luke and me.

Oh no! I'm going to be late to school. I quickly give my parents a kiss on their cheeks before grabbing an Apple and running out to my beautiful blue car and began my short drive to school, to my Luke.

I arrived at the school and saw my brothers walking to there schools that were nearby.

I quickly parked my car and, grabbing my bag before walking over to my precious brothers.

They haven't seen me yet, as they were too busy talking about something to notice me, I watched them do hand gestures at each other.

Max is the oldest of the two. At the prime age of 12, he has the same blonde hair as me, but mother's blue eyes.

He was a lot like me in the part of being a nerd yes, I just told you my deepest darkest secret, now you can blackmail me to the end of my days, and was at times smarter than me.

Gage, on the other hand, was the total opposite of max, he is the youngest out of the whole group, being the age of 10.

He had dad's Brown hair that made his green eyes pop out, isn't a nerd like Max and I are, but is a football player.

I know, isn't he little young to be in football? Well, let me tell you something, my brother is not playing football for school, but one where they only choose the age of 8 and 11, his team is pretty popular.

"Max! Gage!" I screamed once I was right between their heads.

Their hands flew to their ears as they glared at me.

"What was that for Meg?" Yelled max who was now rubbing his ears before facing me with an eyebrow raised.

"What's up with the happy go lucky attitude? Did someone just get a lollipop?"

"no! It's Luke's big game tonight! Isn't it exciting! They are going to the semi-finals if they win this one!"

I jumped up and down in glee before giving my brothers a huge smile.

"Let's run while we still have the chance. I don't want whatever she's got....it can be contagious...." Whispered Gage to Max.

Did he just...

"Hey! I heard that!" I glared down at Gage who innocently smiled up at me.

Before looking at max "run!" Then they run as if their butts were on fire.

Great.... my brothers think I have some weird disease.

Today has been a blast, with lacy and me making jokes about one of the teachers, seeing others playing harmless pranks on each other, its just been an amazing day perfect is what it really was.

I am now walking to Luke's car, as we didn't have any classes together this semester, and if possible, my smile grew bigger as I saw him smiling and saying bye to his friends.

"Hey, Luke!" I run the rest of the way over and was leaning forward to get my kiss when he leaned away from me.

What was that about?

I looked into his bright blue eyes that usually looked down at me with awe and love, but his black hair was as it always was, perfect in it's just out of bed look.

"What's up Luke?" I whispered, fear climbing up my spine as the next words left his mouth.

"I have bad news....."
