2~Dinner and a... Stalker?

I woke up the next morning with a smile. Why do I have a smile you ask? Well today is mine and Marks anniversary dinner and who wouldn't be happy about that? Being married to the person you love most and having a nice dinner to celebrate. Maybe even have a little fun afterward, you know what I mean?

I chuckled at the thought and rolled out of bed which had no Mark in it. Not that, that would have surprised me, he always gets up earlier. I walked over to one of my suitcases and pulled out a pair of boxers, some sweats and Markiplier t-shirt smiling as I imagined his reaction to me wearing it.

I walked over to our bathroom and stripped down to nothing. I looked to my stomach and saw a long white scar running across and stretch marks over lapping the scar. I sighed as my mind drifted to that dreadful day. The car accident, Oliver, yes I still remember him. How could I not? He's my son, or was at least.

I shook my head and got in the shower, scrubbing myself clean before getting out and drying off, putting on my clothes.

I walked out of our bedroom and was greeted by the sweet smell of breakfast and an intense argument.

"Dad are you serious? Why can't I just let the rest of the year slide. I don't want to go to school halfway through the year. I'll get picked on like I did the last school." I heard Ashlyn huff. I poked my head around the corner to observe the scene.

"Ash I know what happened at your last school, but you need to go so you can get good grades and get into a good college." Mark said as he flipped a few pancakes over the skillet.

"Blah blah blah, college college college, what if I don't want to go to college dad? What if I want to just travel the world with a few friends or become a tattoo artist. I'd be a good tattoo artist because you and daddy always say my drawings are cool." She groaned leaning back in her seat. I laughed silently at her attitude.

"Well you don't have to go to college if you don't want to, and I don't care what you have as a job just as long as your happy." Mark smiled and turned around with a few plates of food and walked over to the table.

"So does tha-"

"You're still going to school though." Mark cut off her sentence with a smirk. Ash groaned again and threw her head back.

"Your 17th birthday is in a few weeks Ash. You can go after your birthday if you want." I said walking into the kitchen. Ash's head shot up and she smiled at me.

"Thank you daddy!" She said with a sigh of relief and began scarfing down her food. I laughed at her and heard a whistle come from Mark.

"Well well, look at that." He smiled getting out of his chair. "I didn't know you still had that shirt considering how old it is now." He said kissing my nose. I giggled and went to sit down in the chair and eat. You see, Mark stopped his YouTube channel a few years after our wedding. Of course fans were upset that he wouldn't be making anymore videos and even I was upset because I knew how much it all meant to him, and the fans. But he has a growing family to raise and wouldn't have time to make videos. It was already hard as it was before he stopped because of how little Ashlyn was so she always need someone for her there. I also stopped mine at around the same time for that reason, plus you can't do something like that forever. People eventually get bored and soon there won't be a YouTube to remember. It made me sad to be that pessimistic about it but it's true.

We ate our breakfast in comfortable silence the only sound was our cutlery clinking against the clay multicolored plates.

"Wait," I thought out loud as we began to finish everything. "Where did you guys get the food? We've been here one day, why do we have food?" I asked confused. Ash giggled before muttering an 'I told you' to Mark, him muttering a 'shut up' to her. I looked at them confused.
