I held the bow tight as my frosted breath came into my vision. "What do you want with Ani, Gabrielle!?" I kept the arrow trained on the girl in front of me, she was shaking. "I-I'm just d-doing what I was told to do! I promise I'm just following orders." The girl, Gabrielle, broke into tears. She was scared, and looked a little bit sad too. "Do you work for the Necromancer?" I didn't ease the string on my bow, I didn't want to risk falling for a trap. "Yes... I do work for the Necromancer" I look over to the other guy, Damien, who had an arrow through the neck. He wasn't getting up. "What about him? Does he work for the Necromancer?" Gabrielle nodded. I get behind Gabrielle and tie some rope from my backpack around her hands to restrain her, she didn't struggle. I then go to Ani, who was awake, but gagged and tied to a tree. I untie the gag and then start working on the rope with a hunting knife. "Thanks Slain." After cutting Ani free, I then walk over to Damien and tie up his arms and legs, then take the arrow out of his neck and carry him over my shoulder. "Let's go Gabrielle. You're coming back with me and Ani." Ani looked a little confused, and I nodded to her, and that seemed to be enough to clear some confusion. "It's a bit of a walk back. Let's get moving. Jack will have a fit if we don't get back as soon as possible."
