Sal tries to keep her mind busy as Lucelle is getting medicated. She does everything she can. Sal tries to watch the television, reads books, plays games but she can't seem to get over the fact that her girlfriend, the one shes supposed to protect, was shot by those good-for-nothing peachskins.
Sal decides to just go to her pod and rest. . .
As soon as she wakes up at around MA:7. Sal turns the key and starts up the car, it wouldn't start up.
"I cannot believe this is happening." Sal mutters to herself as she gets out of the sky-car and slams the door shut in frustration.
She takes out her phone and calls her friend. It goes straight to voicemail.
"Hey my name is Jonah, sorry i couldn't pick up. Call me back on —:..—,!- later""Goddamn it. I have the worst luck.."
Sal gives up trying to find someone to take her and just catches the bus.
She looks out of the bus to see that its raining. Calming raindrops pitter- patter on the glass pane. Sal fights the urge to sleep and instead texts Lucelle.'Hey lucelle, i'm on my way. I'll see you soon. I love you."
Left on delivered. Sal didn't jump to conclusions and just thought she might be asleep.
Another hour goes by and Sal is getting ready to get off the bus. She steps out of the bus quickly, she picks up her pace and starts stepping faster until her stepping is turned into a full blown run. Sal runs and runs until she reaches the hospital, rain dropping on her shoulders.
Sal ran through the hospital doors and doesn't even check into the visitors schedule, she just checked which room Lucelle was in and walked casually to her room, as to not draw attention to herself.
She stepped into room -:7. Sal looks around the room and sees Lucelle in a white doctors bed, with drips attached to her, her wound covered with a soft white bandage. Sal runs over to Lucelles bed and grabs her hand gently. She looks Lucelle in the eyes. Lucelle is breathing, but alas, no response.
Sal just sits next to her for around 30 minutes, until she hears voices from down the hall. She can't hear them because they're muffled by the walls but she can tell they're moving closer...
The robot girl can't even be bothered to move in this state so she just sits there. The white-coaters walked straight past her.. what idiots...
Lucelle opens her eyes then closes them again quickly as the light hit her eyes. She sits up and turns her head around the room. As soon as she sees Sal she tries to reach for her but the drip pulled her back. She glances over to her wound and it seems to be patched up.
"Thank god.." Lucelle sighs deeply. She falls back onto her pillow.Sal gasps "You're awake!"
She rushes to Lucelles hospital bed then lucelle nods. Sal looks her dead in the eye. "I will murder everyone and everything on Planet Earth.. make them pay for every single drop of blood that they spilt of yours. I swear on my life""Sal please..."
"NO, what if you had been killed?! I would've never known! NEVER!" Sal sits on Lucelles bed and looks at her hand.
Just as sal said that, a woman in a white coat, a doctor, came in with a clipboard. The female doctor looks sal in the eyes, with a hint of anger."What are you doing in here!?"
