Aria's P.O.V.

I was running as if my life depended on it, which it probably did. I knew I had to get away from the rogues. Just in case you are wondering rogues are werewolves that don't have a pack they specifically belong to. My parents always told me to never let them catch me. They never told me why but I knew to always trust them.

I ran as fast as my feet could carry me. Yeah I know your probably thinking that 'shouldn't you be a wolf right now?' Well the problem is that I've never transformed and I'm already 16. Supposedly I'm supposed to transform pretty soon but I'm not sure when.

I knew that I finally lost them when I reached a meadow that I knew was a pack's territory. I sat down to catch my breath while looking at all the beautiful flowers around me. There were all different types of colors. It really gave the place a unique look. That's what made this place so beautiful.

I stood back up knowing I finally caught my breath and looked up at the sky. It was a clear blue with a couple of clouds here and there. I smiled remembering when I was a child my sister and I would try to figure out the shapes of the clouds. We always had the most fun out of our pack. We were known as the "party girls." It was always the two of us who made everyone smile and laugh. I frowned knowing I will never be able to see her again.

As I was looking up I heard something coming towards me. I quickly began to run but as soon as I moved a whole pack of men surrounded me. I looked around to find any sort of escape routes but there were none at all. I guess I'll just have to fight my way through. Good thing my pack taught me how to fight.

One guy with blonde hair and grey eyes stepped forward and I could tell he was a beta. He looked like he was about 18 and was pretty handsome but he definitely wouldn't be my type.

"You are trespassing on the Starlight territory. You must leave immediately."

I looked at him for a second not knowing what to say. Then I finally answered:

"No."

He looked shocked but quickly recovered into a serious expression.

"I'm warning you that you must leave now."

"I'm not going to," I answered confidently crossing my arms over my chest.

Another man stepped forward and transformed into his gray wolf and got ready to attack me. I instantly knew I could take him down with no problem even if he was in wolf form since he was only a guard.

He lunged at me with his claws showing almost taking me down but I quickly stepped out of the way so he fell to the ground. He seemed to not expect that so I took that as an opportunity to attack.

I kneed him in his stomach and he whimpered in pain. Then I used all the strength I had and threw him across the meadow in which he hit a tree and fell to the ground.

Everybody looked at me in astonishment and I just smirked raising my eyebrow as if I was saying 'Is that all you got?' Then another man transformed into a brown wolf and ran towards me. I began to run towards him as well with as much force. When we made contact he flew back and I stumbled back but quickly regained my balance.

Then more wolves came towards me and I did the same to them until a larger gray and white wolf, I'm guessing was the beta, took me to the ground. I yelped from the unexpected impact and fell to the ground with him standing above me. He looked at me with his canines showing and growled. But I didn't show any fear.

I began to try and push him off but he wouldn't budge. Then I took all my strength and finally shoved him off.

When he was off I scrambled to my feet and began to run but I was too late because the beta got on top of me again and this time he broke my arm. I screamed in pain. I guess it hurt so bad that I began to see black dots cloud my vision. The last thing that I remembered was the smell of vanilla and a huge black wolf push the beta off me. Right then I felt comfort.
