*Third Person Omniscient POV*
It wasn't like she didn't like school, she loved it. She loved learning, reading, and writing. It was just the people that didn't suit her fancy. She rolled her eyes as she stepped into the front office of Beacon Hills High School, with little patience written in her emotions. She slapped a smile onto her face as she greeted the lady at the front desk "Hello, I'm new, I'm here to get my schedule" Celeste spoke, shoving her phone into her back pocket.
"Name please" a sweet voice spoke, bringing a smile to Celeste's face. "Celeste Hale" she stated, drawing the attention of two boys, who found themselves staring at the girl. Celeste caught their stares and flashed an awkward smile "Did she just say Hale?!" Stiles questioned. Scott's eyed were wide as he suddenly searched for his phone in his backpack. He turned it on and found a voicemail from the one and only Derek.
"Hey Scott, this is super short notice but I'll explain everything later. My sister, shes starting school today, her name is Celeste. I told her about you and Stiles so she'll be expecting you two to come up to her and show her the reigns. Keep her under your wing, got it? Come by to the loft with her after school" Surprisingly enough Derek spoke fast enough to get his point through, and Scott scrunched his eyebrows looking at Stiles. "Come on" Scott motioned, walking towards Celeste.
"Celeste?" Scott tapped her on the shoulder, pulling her focus away from the newly printed schedule. "Hey, I'm Scott, and this is Stiles, Derek-"
"Derek told you to show me around blah blah I know, nice to meet ya'll. Shall we get down to business?" Celeste smiled handing Scott her schedule. "We'll you're quite up forward aren't you?" Stiles stated earning a laugh from Celeste, "Indeed I am, so are ya'll gonna show me around now?" She smiled sweetly before walking towards the door, slowly for them to follow along. "She really is like Derek" Stiles whispered to Scott as they scurried to catch up with her. "But she's not exactly like him, she's different" Scott spoke scrunching his brows a bit. "She's not a wolf."***
Celeste settled quite quickly, picking the perfect seats in the corner, paying attention to the teacher instead of the 'new girl' stares always received. Scott and Stiles introduced her to the pack, and left her to click with Malia and Kira while they, in Stiles definition; suffered in practice. "So Derek was young again and tricked by Kate? What even? He has yet to tell me this" Celeste exclaimed as Malia laughed "You can ask him after school today" she laughed before starting a conversation with Kira. But Celeste's focus flew from Kira and Malia's conversation as she found herself unable to look away from an unknown face. He was fast, and something about him drew her attention to his swift moves on the field. "he's good" she accidentally thought out loud, earning a smile from Kira "I think he's in your grade" she said fully catching her attention.
"Really?? Do you know his name?!" Kira laughed "excited are we?" Kira asked playfully pushing her shoulder causing Celeste's cheeks to heat up. "It's Liam I think, coach just yelled out at him" Kira smiled turning her attention back to the field. Celeste smiled, quietly repeating the cute name to her self "Liam huh""They really should feel threatened, I mean I've never seen them play but boy is this kid kicking ass" Celeste said as she studied his moves versus Scott & Stiles'. Just then, he took his helmet off and she felt her heart melt "good on the field, and he's cute? he's the total package oh my" She said resting her chin on her hand. "Kira giggled at her, playfully rolling her eyes. Kira sighed and pulled her attention to Scott. Malia noticed the awkwardness in the air and broke the ice "What's wrong with you?" "me? nothing?" you reek of anxiety and it's distracting, what's going on?" Celeste turned her head away from them, trying her best not be nosy into their problems but overheard too much about Scott and Kira's current situation. Boys are confusing anyways. Meanwhile Scott and Stiles were lacking their skills and good plays, giving Liam a better spotlight. Just then coach called for Scott and Stiles to do two on ones, throwing them both the long sticks to cover the goal. "I mean at least he's not cheating with the wolf power thing but in all honesty it wouldn't kill anyone" Celeste said judging their skills "He's usually a lot better than this" Kira laughed awkwardly.
