Pack meal

The hunting party returned home to the valley. When Suntribe looked down the valley she could see the packs healer sun, her sister. Near the dens of the older wolves Suntribe could see puptribe the pack omega playing with the pups. Then at the other end of the valley Suntribe could see the pack alpha, Alphatribe. A bit of sadness rolled over Suntribe as she saw her alpha. The old weak wolf who she looked up to ever since puphood. Seeing him in this weak state is hard for her. " way are you looking so gloom, we have a whole deer to feed the pack" Mousetribe said. "Come on let's get this to alpha so he can eat first."

The four wolves made their way down the valley slop towards Alphatribes den where he laid their letting the spring sun settle on in fur. "That looks like a feast" the alpha said. "Beta you sure came through for the pack. Suntribe was embarrassing by the compliment but couldn't take all the credit. "Sorry alpha but I didn't get this on my own the hunting party did" "Don't forget how much help Flowertribe was. The deer would have gotten away if it weren't for her." Mousetribe said with a bit of pride for the new hunter. "Well it sure looks like I made the right choice making her a hunter." The wolves turned to see the pride gleaming in the young Wolf's eyes.

My pack Alphatribe called from the rock where he sat to call for the pack meal. We are hear to thank this deer for the sacrifice it made to save us from starving tonight. Let's also not forget how it was a certain wolf's first hunt. All the wolves in the clearing turned to look at the shy and embarrassing wolf who sat near butterflytribe. We also thank the hunting party that brought this deer back to us and may we have full belly's tonight. Alpha finished his speech and took his shear of food then the rest of the pack shared their fill of deer.

Ah I can't remember the last time the whole pack went to sleep with full belly's " I'll say, even I have a full belly." Said puptribe, he's the pack omega. Even thought we don't do rank meals like the other packs, he still somehow always ends up eating last. I still don't know why you always eat last. You say its because you feel it's right. Still no one going to start growling and bitting at you because your hungry. "I know" said puptribe but I want to see everyone in the pack happy and healthy. I'm the omega I don't go on hunting trips all the time like you do." Haha I guess your right still, Suntribe tackled the omega and started play fighting with her pack mate as if they were pups again. Oh how much I miss those days.
