phantasmagoria
Romancea collection of poems that are the results of late night feelings and conflicting emotions
things i learned when nobody texted me
the holy trinity;
me, myself and i
deject yourself from reality
and flips through
the terms and conditions of your body
mindset, and soulfind out your deepest morals
make intricate french braids with your dreams
and sweep away cobweb fearsrely on yourself
and appreciate your skin's inner folds
without society's labelswatch your eyes dilate in a mirror
a pool of black spewing out from a soul
once proudly declared nonexistent
because feelings are not intangible doodles
not raindrops banked in a darkening cloud
embrace them for they make you who you areappreciate beauty in solitude;
a lone lightbulb in a dark basement
a budding flower in a sea of weeds
a watering hole in the desertyou are a blessing;
cursed thou who ignore thee
who are on their knees, praying
while you fly on by, with an olive branch clenched between your teethyou are alone in your king-sized bed
where you reside as queen
and reign supreme solitare
in your death bedlove yourself
clay to mold and manipulate as you please
you are to model nobody's expectations
but your own
