You Were My Summer Love (1D Fanfiction)

Prologue

The rain poured down like there was no end, it mingled with her tears as she was crying her eyes out. How could he? She actually thought he was someone special. Someone she could say I love you to. Clearly, after today, she would never think that again,he broke her heart. Bethany cried harder, if that was even possible right now. She was done with him, she was done with love, she started running harder towards her house as she flashbacked to what happened earlier...

TWO HOURS EARLIER

Bethany was STRESSED. Yes,with capitals, school was literally weighing her down by one tonne, I mean, what kind of teachers welcome their students back from Christmas holidays with 6 assignments?! Her friends were already plotting the murder of those silly treeholes, life sucked so much right now. Dragging her feet on the hard concrete of the car park there was only one thing she was looking forward to today. Seeing her boyfriend. He decided to wag the first day of school, how typical of him. She hurried towards the park where they usually met up after school. Once she arrived at the tree they usually met at, he was nowhere to be found, she fiddled with the necklace he had given her on their third date, she was about to start looking when she heard distinct voices..one of the which sounded very familiar.

"Babe,shush she'll hear us!"

"Oh really? It's only 3:30! There is no way she could be here THIS early"

"But school finishes early for the first day!"

"Still, that fat body of hers wouldn't be able to rush here this fast, I mean I've seen her, she's a walrus!"

Bethany gaped, what was going on? Why did the guys voice sound so much like Harry? She continued eavesdropping.

"Look, she may be plus sized by a tiny bit but stop being so harsh to her!"

"Well I'm your actual girlfriend so why can't you tell that bitch to back off already?! I mean she's just a summer fling!"

"I'm going to tell her once she comes by today okay babe?"

Bethany couldn't continue to listen to this discussion, she ran out of the forest of trees and was about to launch herself in to a lecture about not talking about people behind their backs, until she saw who was talking.

"HARRY?!"

She screamed

Her boyfriend swiveled around at lightning pace,

"Beth, I can explain.."

Tears were starting to form near the corners of her eyes. A sob swelled up in her throat but she held it in.

"No you can't explain! Our whole relationship was just another one of your little flings!? I can't believe you Harry! You go do this to me, leading me on like it's something you do every day! I'm not an object Styles. I'm a person, but clearly you don't think so"

For the first time, she looked at the girl whom the guy was talking to. Her eyes widened. Her mouth opened wide.

She couldn't believe this. The girl he was with made the situation worse. So much worse. It was the she devil herself, Kim, also labelled as the queen of skanks and the snobbiest most popular girl in the year, and worse, she was wearing that ugly lipstick smeared smirk of hers.

Bethany knew she shouldn't have fallen for the popular guy so fast. She shouldn't have let her wall come tumbling down, she knew this was too good to be true. Finally letting the tears that were threatening to escape loose and ran at full speed back to her house. Chucking the necklace he had given her in his direction.

END OF FLASHBACK

Bethany was devastated and depressed as she came crashing back to reality, she had been running for nearly an hour now and she was finally home, she hastily unlocked the door and wiped her soaked feet on the mat, peering around her cardboard filled home. She was glad that after this term she was going to move away from this hellhole. A new promise formed in her head as she looked around.

Stay as far away from Harry Edward Styles as possible.

How did you like this prologue? I wrote this on my phone at school and had the LOVELY Brindapayne helping me with this. As I told you people before, my writing, or should we say typing is horrible at the moment but I'll be editing this story every now and then haha. I'll be making chapters longer as well. OH and I will also be having one of my best buddies mel helping me with the ahem.. Wrong parts of the story since she is sort of perverted.. LOL.

p.s I have this hunch that some people are going to accuse me of stealing some other persons storyline. And to be honest, I came up with this storyline all by myself and I really dont like people bickering on about stealing someone's story. I mean when people do that on other people stories I get pissed at them, knowing the author did the hard work all by themselves.
