Hinata's pov:
I biked to school watching the sun rise. The sun light hitting my eyes as I continue watching, I took a deep breath in ready to start the day. I lift up my foot riding down the hill. Wind flying through my hair as I biked down. But I got distracted by a loud 'honk' behind me. Not paying attention I fell into a hole in front of me knocking my self off my bike.
"OUCH!!"
I yelped. Picking myself up patting the dirt of my clothes. I went over to my bike relived it wasn't broken, but as a I went back on it I lost my balance almost falling. I checked the wheels seeing a hole. I sighed as I continue to school on foot with my bike wheeling next to me.
*30 min later*
Finally! I made it to school at last!! I parked my bike at front walking to class tired. As I entered the school building a bell rang through out the halls, my eyes widen now running to class. Out of breath I opened my home room door walking to my seat dropping myself into the chair. Luckily I wasn't punished for being late as the teacher pushed it off continuing the lesson. I sighed now having to deal with the boring part of school, class.
*After many deadly hours of learning later*
Yay!!! I'm Free!!!
I ran down the halls running to the locker room hearing yelling and footsteps behind me. I stopped and turned around before quickly turning around again running faster than ever.
"HINATA BOKE I'M GONNA WIN!!"
"NO WAY I'M GONNA WIN!!"
We screamed at each other pushing each other along the way both of holding our hands out for the door. I felt my hand touch something, smiling I looked up holding the handle to the door. I jumped up in happiness taunting Kageyama.
"HA! BEAT THAT!!"
Kageyama rolled his eyes as we both entered the room changing into our clothes. Once we finished Kageyama looked at me before smirking, leaving the gym room running. I tilt my head in confusion till it hit me as I started to chase after him running.
'That damn Kageyama!! He got a headstart!!'
Once I ran down the stairs I can already see Kageyama changing into his gym shoes looking at me mouthing the words, "I win".
I pouted as I walked up changing my shoes before entering the gym, seeing almost everyone practicing already. I quickly ran up to Kageyama asking to practice with me, but was denied when he told me he was helping Noya with receiving. I sighed walking around the gym looking for anyone to practice for me till I heard my name being called.
"Hey Hinata! Wanna practice with me?"
I turned around seeing Suga holding a ball in front of him waiting for my answer, I quickly nodded running over to Suga practicing.
After a few minutes I looked around the gym wondering where coach is till I heard Asahi screaming my name.
"HINATA!"
I turned my head seeing a ball in front of me. I quickly reacted steeping back putting my arms out receiving the ball back to them. Everyone was silent looking at me. I looked at Suga smiling at me holding his thumbs up at me before walking up to me telling me,
"Nice Hinata!! You caught one of Asahi spikes!!"
".....What?"
Kageyama pov:
I was serving to Nishinoya watching his every move, at my corner of my eye I see Asahi jumping spiking a ball heading towards Hinata. Asahi caught on to this yelling Hinata's name warning him. I smirked already knowing Hinata's fate. But my as I watched Hinata he didn't looked panicked or anything. Just focused, I watched him stepping back holding his arms out ready to receive it....
'No,way'
I thought, I watched surprised seeing Hinata succeeding the ball flying back. I watched Hinata's reaction from first to confusion to a happy glowing smile. Quickly turning my head already feeling the heat rise around my face.
"That damn idiot."
