Sorry for not posting for like a month!

Next day and no pov:

"Under the sea, Under the sea! Darling it's better, Down where it's wetter, take it from me! Up-"
Suga lifts up his blankets groaning as the phone continues to blast the song.  Moving his hand out, attempting to grab his phone and shut off the alarm. Finally after what felt like forever he was able to shut off his alarm. After a few more minutes he sluggishly fall of his bed. Walking out of the room into the kitchen where he's greeted by his mom,
"Morning Koshi! Can you run down to the store for me please. We ran out of eggs and I wasn't-"
"It's fine mom, I need to go for a morning walk anyways."
Suga's mom smile back at him as she runs over to her purse receiving 2,200 yen (which is about 20 U.S. dollars) handing it to her son.
"You can get anything else if you want, just make sure you get eggs please!"
Suga nods,
"Got it, uhhh let me get changed first and I'll go out."
With that Suga walks back to his room, quickly changing out of his pyjamas into jeans and a light grey hoodie. Once satisfied he exits out of his room, combing his hair with his fingers as he walks over to the front floor placing his shoes on.
"Mom! I'm going now!"
"Ok hun! Be safe!"
Suga nods as he adjusts his shoes one more time before leaving out the door locking it.
He walks down the road taking in the fresh cold air, and silence. Something he barley gets ever since joining the Volley ball club. Chuckling at the thought of Nishinoya and Tanaka screaming at each other, then Kageyama and Hinata fighting about how to do their new move, and Tsukishima and Yamaguchi making fun of them only fueling the fire.
His thoughts were interrupted by a his phone ringing.
Picking up the phone seeing a unknown number, clearing his thought he answers the call placing the phone by his ear,
"Hello you are calling Koshi, how may I-"
"Hey Suga-senpai...can we talk?...."
Suga, stops walking as he remembers the voice.
"Kageyama? Are you ok? What happened?"
A beat of silence came through the phone before a loud thud came through the phone,
"Kageyama... Are you ok?"
Suga asks worriedly,
"....Yea, just-I-.....it's-a nightmare...that's all."
Suga sighs in relief as he lifts the phone closer to his ear as be begins to walk.
"It's nothing to be embarrassed about Kageyama, it's just a bad dream, it's not real you know?"
"I know...I know...sorry I called you this early...I'm-"
"It's fine, I gave you my number for a reason, just go back to sleep. I'll text you later. K'?"
Kageyama only hums in response mumbling a 'thank you' and a 'goodbye' before hanging up.
Suga places his phone back in the pocket, picking up the pace as he sees the grocery store in the distance.

Kageyama's pov:

I mumble a quiet thanks and goodbye before hanging up, tossing my phone across the bed as I sit back down onto my bed sighing,
"That was stupid..."
I told myself as I look up at the clock, rolling my eyes as it reads 6: 23.
Groaning to myself even louder as I blob my head back into the pillow in frustration. After a few minutes I grumpily picked myself up off the bed into my closet, throwing on random joggers and a loose hoodie to run in. After roughly changing into my running clothes I leave my room with my phone and earbuds with one hand and grabbing/adjusting a hat with the other,
Quickly I run to the door putting my shoes on as my head begin to fog up with memories of the nightmare. I opened the door and quietly shut it as my feet begin to pick up the pace as I started to run faster and faster.
After a few minutes I let out a breath of relief as the memories and voices begin to fade, I slow down my pace as I control my breathing. Letting my breath calm down while my heart beat eventually going the same pace. After a few minutes of thinking I decided to call him, see if he's really ok about what happened earlier.
Taking my phone out of the pocket I opened my contacts, calling him, my anxiety slowly building up as I hear a few rings before a break of silence. Until a voice broke through the silence,

Third pov:
"K-kageyama? Why are you-"
Kageyama takes a deep breath interrupting the boy,
"Hinata just calling to make sure about the conversation we made yesterday... Before I left."
"Wh-o-h that, Kageyama I-"
Kageyama interrupts him,
"That was only talking about us being partners in volleyball right? Nothing more than friends?"
A beat of silence drops between the 2 of them, Kageyama's thoughts begin to clog up, yelling at him.
"U-uh- ...YeaH. That was nothing more...It was just a friend thing...Why?"
"Ok, thanks. Sorry to calling you this early Uhh-bye."
Kageyama ends the call, his breathing quickness as he closes his eyes whispering to himself,
"He's just a friend, He's just a friend, He's just a friend, He's just a friend, He's just a friend, He's just a friend-" over and over again. As a voice creeps over,
"Why are you crying over this?"
"You should know more than anyone that no one truly likes you. Remember?"
As much as Kageyama tries his best to push the voice back he didn't last long before giving up to the voice, after all the voice was right,
'No one liked him, not even himself, so why would Hinata.'
