Weekends were meant for relaxing. They were a time for kids to gain a small break from school, and they were a time when families could come together and enjoy each others company.

Well at least, they were supposed to be.

As it stood, Adrienne sat at a desk WingDings had set up in the spare bedroom, her face scrunched up and her brows furrowed in deep concentration as she began to blend shades of blue and purple together on a small canvas. At the far edge of the desk, her computer sat open and a camera was focused on her movements. She occasionally glanced up from her work to check the chat as messages came in, responding out loud to whatever someone had said to her.

Streaming herself while she painted was perhaps the best idea she'd come up with in a while, and while not many people initially watched her, she had fun anyway. Thanks to the decision to start streaming, she'd also met her adoring boyfriend, Blueberry. It didn't take long for those wide, star shaped irises to get to her, and she'd unknowingly begun to think about him more frequently. In any other circumstance, she would've been annoyed. Blueberry was the exception though, of course.

There was a knock on the door and she sighed, choosing not to look up at the door in favor of focusing on her canvas instead as she called out to the visitor with a single word, "Yeah?"

A gruff voice could be heard from the other side, sounding slightly muffled, "I got some food for ya, kid." At the mention of food, the teen glanced at the door, "Cool. You can go ahead and bring it in if you want." There was silence for a brief moment before the door was pushed open, and a large skeleton stepped through, a brown paper bag in one of his hands. Upon seeing him enter the room, the chat seemed to light up with activity, the viewers entering comment after comment and question after question.

Unceremoniously dropping the paper bag on a mostly empty space on her desk, he leaned down to peer at some of the comments in the chat, his mandible shifting into an amused grin. Raising an eyebrow as she ducked a hand into the bag to retrieve a container of french fries, Adrienne watched him curiously, a teasing edge to her voice as she spoke, "Are you being nosy again, Sans?" The skeleton hummed, completely unashamed as he grinned at her, the bedroom light hitting his gold tooth just right and making it seem to glimmer and shine, "Maybe. Why do you care, half pint?"

Adrienne scoffed, trying her best to hide the tiny smile that was threatening to creep onto her lips, "Wow, you're bullying me about my height now? How unoriginal. At least come up with something I haven't already heard a billion times, dumbass."

Quirking a single brow bone, his amused grin shifted into a mischievous smirk, "I'm a dumbass, huh? Funny, because I don't think a dumbass would know quantum physics." The teen simply shrugged and waved him off, "Whatever. Guess that makes you a nerd then." With a brow bone still raised, his mischievous smirk remained, and his left socket flared up with vibrant red magic.

Seeing this, Adrienne set her fries down, making a face at him, "What the hell are you doing now? Can't you just go away already? I wanna stuff my face so I can get back to work sooner." The skeleton glanced toward her bed, the sheets and blankets strewn about in every which direction. To her horror and disbelief, a journal slipped out from between her mattress and box spring, surrounded by Sans' magic. As it grew closer to his outstretched hand, she began to panic, "Hey no, put that back, jerk. That's mine, and you're not allowed to look at it."

As the journal finally rested in his hand, he turned to look at her, clearing his throat and flipping to a random page before beginning to read out loud, "'April 12th - Went to see Blueberry again. He suckered me into going on a date with him. I wanted to say no, but how could I? Especially when his eyes do that adorable thing and turn into stars'."

Completely aware that Blueberry was more than likely watching the stream, Adrienne's cheeks burned a bright red and she lunged at Sans in an attempt to get her journal back. He simply sidestepped though and continued to read, "'He really doesn't get how cute he is when he gives me that look. Every time he looks at me with those starry eyes, I'm happy, and I actually feel ok. Things don't annoy me or make me mad as much. The idiot that lives with Gramps couldn't even ruin my day once I've seen that adorable look... I don't think Blueberry knows how much I like being with him. I wish I could tell him, but I don't know how'."

Blush spreading down to her shoulders, Adrienne screeched, suddenly finding herself shouting at him (once again), "HEY WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM, ASSHOLE? YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO READ A GIRLS JOURNAL LIKE THAT!" Sans grinned shamelessly at her again, tossing the journal to her and watching as she snagged it out of the air, "C'mon, kid. I don't see why you're so upset about it. I actually helped you, y'know. Blueberry knows how you feel now and you didn't have to tell him by yourself."

Baring her teeth at him in annoyance, she growled, her small frame now completely tense, "MAYBE I DIDN'T WANT HIM TO KNOW YET, YOU SHIT FOR BRAINS." Letting out a deep sigh, he casually approached her, wrapping his broad arms around her in a hug and picking her a few inches up off the floor, "Shut the hell up, brat. It's fine. I gotcha. I won't do it again if you're really that pissed off about it." Deciding not to waste her effort on trying to escape his grasp, she growled, this time slightly softer than before, "Good. Seems like you're learning."

He scoffed, setting her down and ruffling her hair, "Yeah yeah, whatever. Didn't you have another date with him today, by the way? You should probably end your stream, eat the food, and get your ass out that door."

At the sudden realization that he was right, she was quick to end her stream, saying goodbye to her viewers before closing her laptop and switching off the camera. Snatching up the bag of food and eating as she proceeded to get ready for her date, she hardly noticed Sans as he quietly watched her, shaking his head. When she nearly dove out the front door and Sans heard it shut behind her, he glanced at her journal, which had been abandoned and left sitting atop her desk.

He knew he should probably do the right thing and respect her privacy like any halfway decent person would do, but he really couldn't help himself. As he grasped the small book and picked it up, he opened to the very first page, skimming along the words and stopping once he reached an entry that was about him.

A little voice told him he should stop and put the journal back, but he couldn't. He just had to know that the rest of the pages contained, and even if he sustained some sort of injury later on once she found out he'd been reading it, it'd be worth it.

After all the tactless, crude, upsetting things he'd said and done to her, he needed to know what she really thought of him.
