-Ten Years Later (F.A.: 2102), Overlook-

He poked the burning logs and the coals tumbled. He wouldn't ever forget that day. The four of them fought and only truly Sol survived. Aarmos was killed first and became a Spirit, Karkos barely lived, returning without much life in him and Sol killed Sarmos himself. It was the hardest battle, not emotionally but just in the fact of skill and powers. They fought in the Knight's arena where death matches were held, one last time.

Now he was a full-fledged A-uon on his way to becoming a Master of Earth.

Right now, though, he was a mission with two of his friends. James the Elf and Alex the Dwarf, both of them were of the Earth Clan as well. Alex was snoring loudly while James looked around. Sol had always found it hard to sleep while thinking of the past. Again, not in a way that held him back, but in the fact that how much of his life was stolen from him. When he heard that he might be able to meet his parents in the Spirit Realm, he tried to. He wanted them to see him and he them, to know what they were like before. However, it seemed that Sarmos destroyed their spirits on that night too. All he would ever get is word of mouth or written records.

"I hate days like this." He rubbed his face. 'Damn you Sarmos.'

James landed next to him. Sol kept acting like he didn't hear or 'feel' him through the earth. James snuck up and was about to choke him in training but pulled out a earthen knife and shook his head. James smiled and stood up. "Thinking about the mission?" He sat down on a log nearby to rest up.

Sol chuckled. "Oh, how I wish I was. No just about the past again."

"Ah." James pulled out some jerky. "Well, can't change it and you know that it shouldn't hold you back."

"I know and I don't. It just sucks." He laid back down. "But right now, I wish I had your kinds lack of a need to sleep." Elves didn't need to sleep any more for some reason. Some thought it was some sort of punishment for the past. When the Elves ruled the world and enslaved the other Races

"Trust me, no you don't." James looked sad. "I used to sleep, but once that curse hit..."

"Sorry." Sol remembered him saying how much it affected his people. "Guess I would miss it too."

Alex rolled to his side and James scoffed. "Well, at least one of us will be well rested."

"Maybe. You know how he gets after he drinks." James put his hand to his face. "Yeah...that is why he is snoring now."

-Ko-Tan-

He walked in with a caravan of traders in a hooded half cloak even though he didn't think he would be stopped around noon with the bulk of traders. None of them were searched so nothing stopped the flow of people, in or out. 'Good, it is nice to see an outlining city, a new one, not stopping everything coming in and out. This could become a great place of commers.'

Sol's mind then went to the founder of the small city, Hardum. He once said all were welcome, so long as they didn't start a fight. Good thing though since many beings did want a fight. However, Sol couldn't risk it at all for the mission was too important right now.

Hardum Mandrake was a defector from the A-uons, which wasn't uncommon. Happened a lot, so long as the defector didn't turn dark, they were allowed to leave. Hardum didn't turn dark, he wasn't ever considered a threat or able to raise an army to threaten Eden, the Capitol City of the world and the seat of power for the A-uons (and the Knights when they were around) because how weak he was for an A-uon. He started Ko-Tan in an effort to make Edan a failure. That wasn't going to happen for a very long time, if at all. That still didn't make HIM a threat but there was something that Hardum found. The Counsel felt it in the Spirit World. Something very evil was here and they sent Sol, Alex and James to find it.
